Cripple And The Sugarfish

December 15th, 2008

Ir hasn’t been the best day today.

I seem to have two kinds of days. The good and the bad.

The good where I get up in the morning and feel okay. I get out to shop or visit animals. I do stuff and get through the day without problems.

Or the bad where I can hardly get out of bed. I am sad and depressed and feel hopeless. I picture myself dying. I usually end up back in bed, either napping or simply sleeping the whole day away. Because the bed is the only place I feel comfortable and safe. The day seems to last forever and I can barely get through it.

Today is one of those days. I have slept most of it away. Now I must stay up late in the hopes of at least getting a little sleep tonight. Depressed at the poorness of my eyesight. Crying at Antony and the Johnsons. Terribly unhappy with everything about myself.

That is how my life seems to be. Split into these two kinds of days. I’m not really sure what brings on either of the two. Or if it’s just random. But I don’t seem to be in control of it.

Not that it all matters so much. We’ll all be the same in the end.

We don’t want it all to be a downer though. So let’s finish off with some pictures from yesterday’s playground feeding.

magnethe buck

Magnethe and the buck saying hello.

sheep

The black sheep. She seemed a lot more confident than I remembered her. Up and baahing for food and not shying away from touch at all.

vanilje

And never forgetting Vanilje.

nina

Nina on the couch with the scruffy-looking Nerf herder. Don’t forget the video.

nina

Spotting something through the window. I like when she walks behind my head like that. At one point she stuck out one leg and put her paw on my shoulder. It was cute. She was all like “Let me just lean on you and rest for a second before I walk on”.

Where would we be without animals?

No Sugar Felt Like You

December 13th, 2008

A quiet little day. There was no Muhammed when I went to the playground. Probably too early for him. But lots of sweet animals that I got to feed.

And Nina was in a good mood. When the weather isn’t too good then she likes to stay inside. So when I was done feeding the animals I sat down on the couch with her. Look, it’s a video! She’d make a good breakdancer, that kitty. She rolls around and stretches her paws out a treat.

After work I stopped off in Føtex, the supermarket in the shopping center around the corner. To see if some of my photo stuff had arrived. In addition to the christmas cards I have had some other things made. But some of them seem to have gotten lost in the mail from the digifotostore to the supermarket. Oh well. It’ll turn up I’m sure. The girl at the counter was very nice. She gave me a number I could call so I don’t have to go there in person and check every day if my stuff has arrived. The phone number was apparently her private line. “The call will go straigh to me” she said. For a second I almost imagined that was what it would be like if a girl gave you her phonenumber. For non business purposes I mean.

They have cute girls in Føtex. I have mentioned a cashier girl from there before. I have seen her a few times again lately. She’s really sweet. I know it’s her job to be nice to costumers. But she’s always really nice. And funny. Making jokes and stuff. She talks way more to me than any other cashier I have met. She must be falling in love with me and will soon be giving me her phonenumber. I have no dout.

Yes, Sigrid has competition. The females are all over me. Even when I’m coming straight from the playground and smelling slightly like wet buck. Just call me Romeo, oh Romeo.

Okay, you can stop laughing now.
