I am now the proud owner of an exercise bike.<\/p>\n

That is to say, the proud owner of a lot of bits and pieces that hopefully will go together and form an exercise bike. It looks a little daunting. Nuts and bolts all over the place. But I’m sure it can be done. I guess I oughta get started on it as soon as possible. But I’m going to wait to tomorrow I think. Right now my head is aching and I’m very tired. Probably the stress of waiting. You wouldn’t think you’d get stressed out by waiting. But that’s the head that Plume built. The store had said that the delivery guy would come between 8am and 3pm. And of course he came at 2:45pm. So I had all day to walk around and worry and listen for sounds outside, wondering if he’d come while I was in the bathroom or making lunch or whatever. Worry, worry your little head around.<\/p>\n

One of the things I did while waiting was watch the latest episode of Boston Legal. And I was once again reminded of how much I like the Jerry Espenson<\/a> character. I have written about him before, though I can’t remember if it was in the blog or the livejournal. But to sum up, he is the lawyer with Asperger’s syndrome. And i can quite relate to some of his social flaws. In the latest episode he talked about how even now when things are going well and he has made partner, he still doesn’t know if he can get out of the door every morning. It’s still a struggle. I can relate. Well, at least it’s not a struggle for me to go out every day. Not so much. But anything involving people. Even just some stranger delivery guy who comes and drops off an exercise bikes and collects payment and leaves immediately. That ruins my entire day. I walk around on eggshells. With a sinking feeling inside. Like I am going to die. It’s always nice to see characters on TV that, in some little way, remind you of yourself.<\/p>\n

I have always liked Christian Clemenson, the guy who plays Jerry. Ever since I saw him in The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. That must be more than a decade ago. I loved that show. Bruce Campbell, is there anyone cooler? Maybe Harrison Ford. Or Morgan Freeman. Or Samuel L. Jackson. Or Dr Zoidberg.<\/p>\n

All my heroes are fictional. No wonder I want to live in my dreams. <\/p>\n

Anyhoo, I just saw that Clemenson’s birthday is March 17th. Mine is the 15th. We’re like best buddies, that’s what we are.<\/p>\n

Also, and I know I shouldn’t be saying this but, I would kill for cake. Not a piece of cake, no no. A whole cake. With sugar on top. That’s what I would kill for.<\/p>\n

How long would you have to ride an exercise bike to burn off the calories from one whole cake with sugar on top? Hmm. Well, the vegetables I had for dinner were quite alrite I suppose. <\/p>\n
