I managed to get up in time for laundry today. <\/p>\n
And yet, I did not get the laundry done. Pretty much as soon as I got out of bed I got an SMS from the postal service. Saying that they were going to deliver a package to me today. I had ordered a new external hard drive (you can never have too many hard drives) for that extra christmas money I had coming. So they decided to deliver that today. And I decided to stay home and wait for it. If I hadn’t been home to receive it then it would have gone back to the post office. And I have mentioned that they have closed down our local post office, right? So I would have had to gone looking for the new one. Plus a hard drive being slightly fragile I felt better about getting it right away and saving it from another day of being thrown around and man-handled.<\/p>\n
The mailman came around noon. I had booked the laundry room for 10 am. So I am one hard drive richer but my clothes are still dirty.<\/p>\n
I decided to go out and get some fresh air. Did some shopping. And went to the laundry room and booked it for Wednesday. So that’s all good. And guess what I saw outside? Snow. There was snow: Not a ton. But a good little amount. I’m not sure when it has come. I didn’t leave the apartment all weekend so it probably came during that. Most of it was bunched up at the sides of roads and paths so it can’t have been quite newfallen. But nice enough nonetheless. Almost like a little late white christmas, what with the present package as well.<\/p>\n
There was another treat in the mail. A letter from Luis. With a photo! You’re quite right, Luis. I didn’t know what you looked like. But I do now. Quite handsome I must say. Although I don’t understand why you were wearing an eyepatch and a parrot on your shoulder?<\/p>\n
