Had my doctor’s appointment today. Went okay. Some bloodtests and stuff. I didn’t get around to bringing up the sleeping pill question. Due to bus trouble I was late so it was all a bit rushed. I guess I’ll just have to.. not sleep, for a while. I’ll be going to regular diabetes checkups though, so maybe I’ll bring it up next time. We’ll see.<\/p>\n

More importantly, how are the goat kids doing? They are doing just fine. Today they were outside for the first time. When I got there one of them was outside with Vanilje and the other one was inside. Squealing for mommy. They do that quite a lot. Very vocal. And cute. So I brought the last one out and we all had a nice time in the sunshine. Except there’s no sunshine of course. Grey and wet. But nicer than being inside in the dark at least. And lots of space for the babies to run around and explore.<\/p>\n

They’re now brave enough to really come up and examine you. Crawl up on you and even nibble at you a bit. They are so lovely, I mean it. Small and innocent and defenseless. You just want to hold them and make sure they are okay and love them. Love them forever.<\/p>\n

Mama Vanilje. She does well. I am relieved. After what happened last year, when she had her first baby. I was worried if these would be okay. And worried if she would know how to be a proper mother. But things seem to be going very well. They are lively, eating and squealing and running around. And Vanilje is taking very good care of them. Just how it should be.<\/p>\n

She looks so much like Vanilje did when she was a kid. Slightly darker around the head, but very alike.<\/p>\n
