Unfortunately I did not make it to the playground after all. The bad weather has continued. That means two weeks without goat visits for me. That is no good. Last week my parents took a trip to Finland. And there was cane training. This week much bad weather. In the olden days I would never have let a little rain stop me from going to see the goats. But it’s different now. My eyes are not too strong. If I get wind and rain in them then they quickly get uncomfortable and start to hurt. And I’m less mobile and so less able to chase after goats who don’t want to be in the rain.<\/p>\n
But I’m going to try again on Monday. Hopefully I will be able to make it then. I need some good goat time. And I feel guilty about staying away for so long. Like I’m neglecting them. Also I can’t help worry that something will happen to them. That I will come back after a couple of weeks and they’ll be gone for some reason. I know it’s silly, but I can’t help it. They’re my buddies, I need to take care of them.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile I have looked a little at the ZoomText program. I have set my resolution back to 800×600, as that is still easier on the eyes. But with the help of ZoomText I can now read usenet again. So that’s really good. I can keep up with alt.tv.lost again. Definite improvement. I still need to check out the other functions of the program, so we’ll see if there’s more to gain.<\/p>\n
Othr than that there is nothing new. Mama’s world famous chicken soup on Sunday. Hopefully goats on Monday. Postponed hospital checkup on Wednesday and postponed cane training on Thursday. That’s the plan for now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
