Happy birthday, dad. I went to the parental place for dinner and celebration. And before that I spent a good 5 hours with the goats at the playground. So that was good times.

It may be the longest time I have spent at the playground since Mads passed away. Certainly in the last year’s time. I figured that since walking around is hard for me now, it wouldn’t make sense to go to the playground and then go home and then go to my parents and then go home. Especially since my parents are right between my place and the playground. So easier to just stay at the playground until I had to go to my parents’. And that worked out just fine. Had a really good time with Magnethe and her boys. They were outside when I came. And they have grown. They have grown cute. Who had thought that would happen?! They are so much fun. And yes, tthey jumped up on my back. Oh I have missed having goats on my back. Not surprisingly it was blackhead who got the idea first. But brownhead was a quick learner. And I think he was actually the first one to get all the way up and stand on my back. They are not so good at it yet, but they don’t mind trying. True goat kids, always loving to jump and climb on you.

Had some good people interaction as well. Bodil came by. She lifted Sif over the fence so I could say hello. All the while Magnethe watching closely. Ready to protect her little ones from the giant, ferocious killer doggie.

There were some nice kids too, some of them came in and sat on the bench with me and watched the goats. When I was leaving, one of the boys who had sat on the bench with me suddenly cried out “watch out!”. I was walking along with my cane. There was a big container with old hay and garbage and such in front of me. I knew it was there though, and there was no way I would have walked into it, with my cane and all. But it was still nice of him to want to help.

I brought a sandwich so I would have something to eat since I was going to spend all day there. I tell you, Magnethe was not pleased that I wouldn’t share it. I had to push her head away repeatedly. And she complained loudly. “That’s not people food, that’s GOAT food” she said. I believe. All food is goat food. And when Magnethe is around, all food is Magnethe food.

As time passed the sun even came out. It had been a bit grey with a little rain in the morning. But it turned into a really nice day, weatherwise as well.

A little video: youtube.com/watch?v=gM-L1s5_m2o. Magnethe’s boys escaping through the fence. Nothing can hold back a goat kid on the loose.

It’s been a good day today.
