Trip to the doctor&#8217;s office and then off to see the goats. Very cold. The little birdies inside. And the family who fed the goats. On the bus, and walking with my dad. Snow and goats, two beautiful things.<\/p>\n<p>I have received the test results from the doctor already, and they were all fine. No worries there. <\/p>\n<p>And finally a big thank you to the magnificent Debster, who sent me an early christmas present. Several in fact. Three pairs of woolly socks. I already have two pairs she sent me previously, and they are excellently warm. Very useful. And even more useful, brilliant in fact, are the gloves\/mittens. I have never seen anything like them before. You can sort of slide off the top, so the fingers are free. What an excellent idea. I always have trouble with my gloves in the cold, because I can&#8217;t use my camera or my telescope when I wear my big winter gloves. And I can&#8217;t scratch the goats. So I always end up having to take off the gloves. And my fingers turn to ice. I haven&#8217;t tested these new ones in the field yet, but in theory I should be able to keep my hands relatively warm while still being able to use my fingers when I need to. I love them already, can&#8217;t wait to try them out. Thank you, Deb!
