Just a little update on the eyesight. Now, a couple of days after the last treatment, it is still good. In fact it is better than it has been for a long while. Maybe as good as it was right after the lens replacement surgery in the summer. So far I am very happy. It is everything I had hoped for when I went in on Friday.<\/p>\n
I keep noticing the little things that are clearer. The first thing was the tiles on my bathroom floor. Small, rectangular ones. With dark lines between them. Now when I look at them I see the square mosaic patterns. Instead of a uniform, grey blur.<\/p>\n
And when the Korean couple Sun and Jin speak on Lost I can read the subtitles. I can sit back in my comfy chair and read them. A couple of days ago I literally had to lean in so my head was inches away from the tv screen, to even hope to read some of them.<\/p>\n
I am very pleased. And also scared. Because usually when something good happens, something bad soon follows. But for now, it’s good. And I am happy about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
