I have been enjoying the soup for a few days. Dad came over yesterday with another portion. There should be enough for tomorrow too. Six days of soup, even better than twelve days of christmas.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday I went and got my feet did. Foot therapy is always nice and relaxing. Talked a little with the therapist about my improved eyesight. We were joking around about how now he couldn’t slack off anymore, he’d have to give me the GOOD treatment. Amusing.<\/p>\n
Afterwards I went to see the goats. Walked up through the park. By the stream, where I used to play as a kid. When I was little the stream seemed like a mighty flowing river. I remember being a little scared of falling in. I don’t think I went too close to the edge. Nowadays it seems like a little trickle that could barely make your feet wet. Perspectives change.<\/p>\n
I tried out my thermal underwear. Did I mention that I bought thermal underwear? It’s practically a whole body suit. It kept me nice and warm, but the weather was a bit milder than usual too, so that might be why. I’ll have to try it out when it’s really freezing again. I think we’ve had more snow, so maybe I’ll get the chance soon.<\/p>\n
I almost lost my cap on the trip. The lovely cap that Deb sent me. I had a little hat underneath the cap, to keep my ears warm. And while I was sitting with the goats I suddenly noticed that the cap was gone. Because of the hat I hadn’t felt the cap disappear. When I left the goats I got ready to backtrack down through the park to see if I could find it. But then I got the impulse to go back to the goat pen and check. And I did. And there it was. I had forgotten that when I got to the goats I had gone and grabbed some hay for them. That’s where the cap had fallen off, when I bent down to pick up the hay. I had only checked at the bench before I left the first time. Good thing I went back for a second check, otherwise I would have spent a long, cold time in the park looking in vain. I do love my two caps that Deb has sent me. Ever since I got them I don’t think I have gone outside without wearing one of them. And in the winter I’ll usually be wearing the woolly socks and now the glovely mittens that she sent me too. She is my own personal fashion guru.<\/p>\n
