A little update on my dad. He’s been in the hospital since my last entry. More than a week now.<\/p>\n
He’s supposed to be coming home today. But they’ve sent him home twice before and both times he started feeling bad before he made it out of the hospital and they had to get him back in. So I don’t know if he’ll actually be home this time. But I guess I’ll know later.<\/p>\n
They’re not sure what’s wrong with him. Lots of tests have been made. At first they thought maybe it was a blood clot in the leg. Then maybe a blood clot in the lungs. They checked for ulcers, the head, the heart.Other stuff. So far they haven’t come up with anything. It’s been quite worrying and scary. But at least he is hopefully getting better now. Mama is cooking up a pot of soup on Sunday, it would be nice if he was back for that. For a nice family dinner. I could use that now.<\/p>\n
Update: I wrote this earler today. Now at the time of posting, my dad is actually back home. So that’s good. Still lots of tests and stuff to come, but let’s hope for the best. It has all been weighing heavily on my mind lately, naturally. But I don’t feel like writing too much about it here.<\/p>\n
