Time to catch up with the goats. The big news from the playground was the destruction of my agility course. Not by a Frankenstorm, but by a bonfire. They took my branches and planks and used them to build a fire. I was a little annoyed by that. They already have their firewood, why take the goats’ playthings? Oh well. There are still a couple of tree logs for the goats to jump around on. But I do think we should find some new things for them to play with. It’s nice with a new, big fold but there has to be stuff for them to do too. At least they have me to play with now and then.<\/p>\n

But let’s move on to pictures.<\/p>\n

Preben saying hello to Bodil. I have told her about how he’s been after me. When I go to the fence to say hello to Bodil and Sif I have to keep an eye on him or he’ll come charging. Although if I stand and scratch his neck then that usually keeps him in check.<\/p>\n

Always amuses me when goats turn around on themselves like that. Fold ’em up and put ’em in the drawer.<\/p>\n

Bodil has been wanting to take a picture of Mia standing on my back. We finally made it. Of course Mia could have done us the courtesy of not turning her butt to the camera… but you can’t have everything.<\/p>\n

I have ordered prints of 20 of my goat pictures. I plan to give them to the playground for christmas. That would be a nice little present. We shall see if it all works out.<\/p>\n

And now for the videos. Goatlogs and some individual ones too.<\/p>\n

First one is a collection of Mia’s rather impressive baahing. She has some voice. Very loud, she gets. I was inside because they rained. I like when I can film them without them seeing me. Sort of spying on them, so my presence doesn’t influence the outcome. Like Schrodinger’s goats.<\/p>\n

And a video of me on the bench. I set up the camera on the fence and just filmed a little from the distance of me sitting with the goats. That’s how I spend a lot of my time. You know the stereotypical image of an alcoholic sitting on a bench with empty bottles around him? That’s sort of me, just with goats instead of bottle.<\/p>\n

Bob had a little run-in with Felix, the pony. I think they were both interested in pumpkin leftovers on the ground. But Bob wasn’t too happy with Felix’s attention.<\/p>\n

And a video of my agility course being taken down. Per and a couple of the kids (older ones, I think) take out all the branches and the old doors. And you can see a little of the bonfire. And then a little of Mia on the tree logs that were left.<\/p>\n
