Here we are now. Let’s see, what has happened since we last transpired? I sorted my computer problems, I think. I’m actually a little proud of myself. Without going into specific details I managed to do some good work that involved opening computers, connecting cables, moving hard drives and so on and so forth. Pretty good work for a blind guy who is afraid of computer innards. Fingers crossed that things will keep working.

And I’m not just improving my computer. Also myself. At least I’m trying. I have quit cola. As of yesterday. So we’ll see how long that lasts…. I have lived off cola most of my life, apart from a short break around the diabetes diagnosis. I have had irritated bowels though, I feel like, and I read that caffeine and cold carbonated drinks could be a factor in that. So now there’s no more sugarfree Pepsi for me. Wish me luck. I also ordered some new fish oil tablets. There was a programme on Danish TV about fish oil tablets. Turns out most of the ones on the Danish market are useless. So I’ve been wasting money on that all along. But after some research I found some that should be better. So hopefully that’ll help with the health too.

I got a great package in the mail the other day. From my friend Traci in Texas. It was a christmas package that she had sent early to make sure it got to me in time. And boy did it. It was full of nice Texan stuff, I really enjoyed it. Remember my cola glass that I got when I moved into this apartment? My dad’s friend who helped us move gave it to me. And it broke. Remember that? I practically didn’t, but Traci did. And sent me a new cola glass. Awesome. Although I won’t be using it for cola no more. But that’s okay. There were also some fridge magnets. I can’t remember if I’ve blogged about it, but when I won that Lost charity auction I got a signed fridge magnet. And I’ve gotten one from Lynne in Scotland too. So I got the idea to start collecting fridge magnets from friends around the world. So when I look at my fridge instead of thinking of all the food that’s bad for me I’ll think of friends around the world. You know? So if there’s anyone out there (cough*Debster*cough) who wants to get me a fridge magnet from your local place of residence for christmas then that’d be supercool, kawaii!

Frost is coming next week. Winter will be kicking off. My new winter clothes have been really helpful during the mild coldness lately. Now I will get to put them to the test in below-zero situations. I guess I will have to dig out my thermal underwear again too. Brrr.

Let’s get to the good goat stuff now.

Bob on the table. Sille, Fernando and Felix.

Now videos.

First off a really, really cute little one of Mia. She got all jazzed up and started jumping around and challenging Kamel. I don’t remember seeing a 3 month old kid actually trying to butt heads quite like that with an adult goat before. She’s so adorable the way she leaps and skips. And my manly giggles make me laugh as well.

—

Part 1 of Tuesday’s goatlog. Various goat funs. Mia kept jumping up on my back. And Bob and Kamel kept chasing her off. Preben was tied to the fence to keep him from chasing the other goats out of the fold. It was nice that he at least could still be in the fold, but I still felt a little bad for him. So I brought him some branches and stuck them in the fence so he could duel them and take some aggression out on them since he couldn’t chase the ladies around anymore.

—

Part 2 from Tuesday. Since they took my little agility setup down I’d been looking for something new for the goats to jump around on. There was a table lying around and I asked Per if I could put it in the goat fold. He told me that was okay, so I went to get it. I thought I’d be able to carry it but it turned out to be super-heavy. So I had to roll it around to get it in the fold. And as you can see in the video it was too unstable to stand upright. So after much, much effort I had to settle for it lying upside down. But the goats still enjoyed jumping on it, and I put up branches around it for them to nibble on. There are some cute bits with Mia jumping on the table and it toppling over too. There’s also a sped-up part of me trying to arrange the table. I originally uploaded that to Facebook with the Benny Hill theme playing in the background. But that got taken down after 5 minutes for copyright violation. Oh well. Just imagine the music.

—

And lastly but not least a goatlog from Thursday. I put a big branch in the hayholder so it was hanging out and the goats could go and nibble at it and nudge their heads at it. Sigrid came and threw hay to the goats. And there were also apples and carrots later on. We spoil those goats.

That’s it for today.
