It’s been a rather beautiful week. Very warm and sunny. The summer has taken hold. Hopefully it will stay a while. Just a little.<\/p>\n

It posed me with a little dilemma, as I posted on Facebook. Do I spend my time mostly exercising, which is more effective when it is this warm. Or do I spend my time with the goats, which is always really enjoyable when it’s warm and sunny. I figured it would be a compromise, because even though I really wanted to make a big effort with the exercising the goats are just too important to me to stay away. So a little less exercise than I had wanted. And it turned out to be a full week of goat times. I went every day, which doesn’t happen often. Usually I’ll take at least one day off during the week. But I had to enjoy what I thought would be my last week with Medium. We found a place for him to go. We thought. Can you guess where this is heading? Well, I said my goodbyes on Wednesday. Because they were supposed to come get him on Thursday and that was a big laundry day for me, usually I stay home on those. But of course, once the laundry was done I just had to go to the playground anyway. To have another last goodbye. And then when I got there on Friday… Medium was still there. The deal fell through. As I understood it, the guy who had said he’d take him didn’t realise it required registration and obligations or.. whatever. He bailed on us. Per said he’d try to get Kurt to take him. I’m crossing my fingers. He can’t stay much longer and I just want him to get a good home.<\/p>\n

Here’s to hoping. He’s a sweet, little troublemaker. Him and his sister have started jumping up on one of the roofs at the playground. There’s a bench placed on a bit of higher ground that they discovered could let them jump up on the roof. Where they could reach lots of yummy leaves that all the other, heavier, goats can’t get up to. Clever ones! It’s fun seeing them run around up there.<\/p>\n

\nFirst from Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A ton of fun with the goat kids. Really jumping and butting heads and getting into allsorts of trouble.
