It’s a new year. 2014, according to the lovely family calendar that Desir\u00e9e sent me. <\/p>\n

New year, same old life. Pretty much. I had planned to take a couple of days to do absolutely nothing after new year’s eve. But of course I changed my mind the morning of January 1st. Just had to go see the goats to make sure they were okay. And they were. Of course. It’s the same every year, I can’t help worrying about them especially on new year’s night. But they’re always okay. Thank goatness. And I’m sure they didn’t mind me coming by with a little old fruit for them. Came back on Friday and they were still fine. A couple of christmas trees in the pen for them. They always enjoy that a lot. And I always enjoy watching them devour the trees.<\/p>\n

Mio is still big. I don’t get the feeling she’s right about to pop, though. A visiting father, with his little boy, asked how long before there would be babies? I said it would probably be 2-3 weeks. According to my calculations it can’t be later than January’s end. But of course I’m no math wiz… Still, it could happen any time I guess. It will be a good start to the new year with goat babies. Though Mia will probably get jealous if I spend too much time with them. She has nothing to worry about, though. I’d never forget her!<\/p>\n

But other than that it’s pretty much business as usual. Trying to get back on track with healthy living after an unhealthy holiday season. Exercising. Looking foward to spring. May it come swiftly.<\/p>\n
