It’s been a week of many weathers. Cold and dark. Grey and rainy. Windy and snowy. All jumbled up. Several scenes of goats looking out the hatch and then looking at me like “You’re not expecting us to go out in that, are you?”. But they did get out. And we had some good times. No babies yet. Mio is big and seems a little tired of it. On Tuesday she was quite annoyed and kept picking fights with everyone. Normally she can be quite bossy but she was really on overdrive that day. She chased Kamel around for a while. You can see some of it in the goatlog below. Although of course I ran out of battery in the middle of it and with frozen fingers it took ages to get it replaced. But still fun to look at. I do enjoy a good goat circus.<\/p>\n

Last night I dreamt about some of my old goat friends. It started out as some kind of news clipping. From a paper maybe. Or a newsletter from the playground. It was about Sigrid and how she had been worried whether she’d be able to train Palle the way she had trained Bob? Or something like that. You know the effect in movies when you have a picture and it zooms in on it and then it transforms from a still picture into a live scene? That’s what happened in the dream. It zoomed in on the photo in the article and then I was there. It was the slope at the playground. Grass and sunshine. Magnethe was there. Sitting down. She got up when she saw me. Mads was there too. And Bob. It was beautiful. Like a little dreamvisit to the afterlife where all my best goat friends were waiting for me. I wish I could have stayed longoer but it only lasted a minute. Then I woke up, I guess. It’s all a blur to me now. But I hope I’ll end up back there some day.<\/p>\n

Now for photos. I have changed the way I handle photos. It should make it easier for me to post them. Cut down on some of the processing time. It also means I’m going to be posting more of them. In the past I’d pick out the 8-10 best of the week to post. But now that it’s easier I’m just going to post them all. That could be 10-20. Maybe. More photos in any case. I realize that might get annoying for some. But then if you don’t like goat photos then you’ve probably stopped coming to my blog long ago. And you can always scroll by them. No harm no foul. I just like having them all in my photo album.<\/p>\n

The two first photos are in different sizes. If you have any thoughts on which size is best, please leave a comment. The first one is 400 pixels wide. The second one (and the rest in this post) is 450 pixels. Any input appreciated. Even if it’s just “doesn’t matter, do what you want”.<\/p>\n

I have waited all his life for this. Snowflakes on Palle’s black fur. I love it. Like my old Bob. You can see him shake it off in the goatlog too. Just like Bob. Sigh.<\/p>\n

Kamel used to sniff at my face a lot. She kinda stopped for a while, but I’ve gotten her to start doing it again. Because it amuses me.<\/p>\n

Goat yawn! I love the goat yawns, as you know. I had my camera pointed at Kamel and was about to take a picture. And then she started yawning. Perfect timing. She kinda looks a little like a rock star belting out a rocking tune. Are you ready to ROOOOOCK?!<\/p>\n

Mia checking to see if I’m inside the scarf somewhere. It was my first time this winter bringing out the big scarf that Traci made me years ago. I have cut up one of my older, smaller scarfs in smaller portions so I could wear them around my neck under my coat. But this weather required my whole face to be wrapped up to protect me from the wind!<\/p>\n

And a goatlog. With snow and rain and falling christmas trees and the usual fun. Mio chasing Kamel around. Flight of the bumblegoats. I don’t think they know that they not supposed to be able to jump like that when she’s so heavy!<\/p>\n
