I’m going to copypaste the little sort-of year-in-review Facebook post I made. It’s not much but it’s something.<\/p>\n

It’s been a year. It certainly has. It’s been a fairly quiet year. I am thankful for that. There have been ups and downs. Mostly mentally. But no disasters, I think. I am very thankful that we avoided goat tragedy this year. When Kamel got sick there was a part of me that was convinced it was going to be another summer goat catastrophe to haunt me. I am so relieved that we got her better, and I have been feeling closer than ever with her since then. Seeing Herman go was very sad, of course. But it’s easier when you know they go to a good home and get to live on. I had a wonderful time with him. And his kids. Oh my. You tell yourself “oh we’ve had goat kids before, it won’t be _that_ special”. But you’re wrong. It is that special. And Bruce and Clark have been amazing. It’s usually better if we get girls, but oh I love seing those little brothers run around. And the way they turned out. Truly a miniMio and a miniHerman. It’s so wonderful. And of course Mia, my darling. And Palle the silly, curious yelper. Mama Mio who for once was the one not in charge. Being chased away. She’s made up for it since Herman left. Back in growl.
\nI love those goats. Without them I don’t know what I’d do.
\nThere are still lots of things to work on for 2015. I will make it the best year ever, I will. You can’t stop me from trying. I’m so looking forward to spring and summer. I’ll exercise the heck out of the heat and sit in the sun with the goats. And that’s all I want. I’m going to be skinny, healthy, happy and less than competely deathly pale.
\nThanks to everyone who has stuck with me. And sorry to those who haven’t, I know I’m not easy to deal with always. I am broken in places and find it hard to relate to you humans. I hope The Big Giant Head will help me in my quest to discover what makes human ticks. Sorry, what makes humans tick.
\nAnd so and so forth. 3ish ours left. Less than 3.
