\nGood goat times today. A beautiful, sunny day. With temperatures just that notch above freezing that makes it all more bearable. Even the mud semeed nicer today. It was still muddy, but there wasn’t much water in it. It was more like dry mud than like the swamp we’ve been having. That’s how you drain a swamp! (Sorry, if I’ve been too political. But asking people not to post about Trump around the inauguration is kind of like asking people not to talk about the Super bowl around Super Bowl Day. Is Super Bowl Day a thing? I don’t know anything about Super Bowl ball. Anyway, I’ve only lost one friend over it so far so we’re coo. Honestly, I can barely keep up with Facebook anymore so maybe I should just start posting really offensive stuff until everyone has unfriended me. Hey, it worked in real life!).
\nI was the first to arrive, so I took the goats out myself. Went smoother than it’s gone before, mainly because I hooked Mia up on Mio’s leash and then had A38 on her own. So I more or less had them all under control as I took them around the building and out to the pasture. Got Mia to get up on the little cross beam again. She could be a tightrope walker, I think.
\nGot news about the horse situation as well, but I’ll write about that when I’m done self medicating with pizza.

\nNot only is The Last Jedi the title of the new Star Wars movie, it’s also the name of one of the 20 old Marvel stories that were translated for the Danish Star Wars magazine. I remember reading it as a kid and actually being quite moved by it. It might have been the first Star Wars story to ever sort of emotionally touch me like that. As ridiculed as the old Marvel comics are today, they were my gateway into an expanded universe.

\nOh hey yeah, I was supposed to tell you about the horses. I actually started writing this yesterday evening but then I collapsed in my comfy chair, with aching leg and sadness over the decline of humanity and the fact that I had eaten the last of the pizza and I spent the rest of the evening and all of the night having amazing dreams. But never let it be said that I leave you hanging.

\nOh wait, the horses. I talked to Ophelia as I left yesterday. She was out with the new horse. And it is a new horse, yes. It’s called Black Beauty. ‘Surprise, surprise’ as Ophelia said. Not the most of original name. But it fits. And she seems very sweet. When I gave her carrots the other day she didn’t get too eager or pushy. Seems quite easy going, unlike someone else I can think of…
\nYes, Mulle has left us unfortunately. Apparently the older horses were getting a little tired of her (and I think the goats agreed). She was kinda hugh-strung and apparently she’d been having some breathing problems too. So she’s moved to another place that’s a little better suited to her needs. I’m not sure if we’ll get to see her again, but I wouldn’t count on it. It’s too bad, because I really like her. She was a lot of fun. She had a goaty personality, as I liked to say. Even though I don’t feed the horses very often, Mulle would still always come over to see if I had something for her. Much to the terror of the goats. It was fun knowing her, I hope she has a good life ahead. Black Beauty seems like her complete opposite. Other than the fact that they both have a white stripe down the face. Ophelia said that a couple of the other horses may also be leaving later in the year, and that they’re looking into getting one or more new horses, some that would be a little more kid friendly. I hope Sille doesn’t leave. Even though I’m not super close with her, I’ve known her for many, many years since she used to live at the old playground before coming here.
\nWe’ll see what the future brings. I think Mia and Mio are happy with the change. They were terrified of Mulle. And they did have some close encounters too where Mulle acted out a bit, so maybe it’s better for their safety too. They have a healthy respect for the other horses, but seem to co-exist better with them.

\nGot a message from someone who said they got goats because of my page. That made me rather happy. Spreading some good. Also said her boyfriend lives in Denmark, but I don’t think that had anything to do with me. Although I know I make Danish guys look hot AF. Watching me waddle around in 17 layers of clothes with mittens on… honestly, I don’t know how anyone could resist me. The only reason I keep refusing to appear on a Danish version of The Bachelor is that I know I’d crash their system with the millions of applications they’d get to be on my season. It would definitely be the most watched season of all time. Period.
