\nGood goat times today. happy silly goaties. I found out that the new goats don’t actuallly hae names yet. That surprises me. I don’t think I will get to name them. But I do hope they get names soon. If for nothing else than so I can get better filenames than 190128_newgoats1.jpg, 190128_newgoats2.jpg etc. (NSPAA date format for lyfe)
\nThere are some dominance games going on. Especially between Mia and the lil not-mamma. She’s the biggest of the new ones, I guess she was probably boss at the old place. Mia is very keen on showing her that in this hood, Mia is boss. There’s some grunting and snorting and humping going on. Lil not-mamma is taking it pretty chill. She seems to be ahead of Milo and Sky in the hierarchy, for now at least. We’ll see how it all goes. They just have to get used to each other and settle the hierarchy.
\nThe lil boy is so darn cute. I love sitting with him. I wish he had a little playmate, but ok his mother is almost kid-sized anyway haha. And he’s got me.
\nI keep hoping Mio will poke her head around the corner. It’s strange not having her here. It still seems like she just went inside for a rest or something. That she’ll be right out. Sigh.
\nBut at least all the new goats are a good distraction. Good goat squad.

\nMy brother came home from the hospital today. I am surprised they let him go that quickly, but that must be a good sign. Fingers crossed that everything will go well with the the kidney. Science, it’s a heck of thing.

\nMilo and Sky got a little tired of the newbies…
\nIt’s funny, I would have thought Milo and Sky would be more dominant, since they’re on their own home turf. But the newbies, especially the lil not-mamma, seem to a little stronger. Everyone is still getting used to the new order of things, though. Hopefully they will all gel into one big, happy goat circus.

\nTen months ago I uploaded two short clips of Justin Timberlake on SNL, doing a soup song\/dance, to my alt youtube channel. One of them has more than 15,000 views. The other one has 0. Literally “Views: None”. I find that pretty amusing.
\nI guess “Soup there it is” ranks higer in the search algorithm than “Souperdoup”.
\nMost of the other videos on that channel have between 1 and 30 views. Hope I get that phat ad revenue soon!

\nHeading to the bed. I have been having a hard time getting into the dreamscape lately. I’ve had good dreams, but not those long deep journeys with semi-lucid trances. Maybe it’s because the nights are cold now. Or maybe it’s all the things that have been going on with goats and family, maybe the balance is off. There’s still a blanket of sadness over my head. Maybe I just need to sleep harder. I’ll go try. Don’t wait up.

\nOkay, I know most of the screenshots posted originate from Other People From Elsewhere. But if you ever find yourself making a screenshot that you want to go viral… consider that a white background is problematic for a lot of visually impaired people.
