\nGood goat times today. A lovely, hot day. it would have been uncomfortably humid, but there was fresh wind that kept it fresh. Lovely summer’s day.
\nTook the goats out for our usual tour. Over to the kindergarten fence to entertain and clear some brush. And then a walk around the ground to get as much green as possible. Plenty of visitors with little kids getting to pet the little goats. Everyone had fun. Although I did have to run interference to save a picnic table full of food that the visitors wre not planning on sharing with the goats, contrary to what the goats assumed. But I think everryone survived. Milo and Sky took a little trip into the horse pen. They can still squeeze through a gap in the fence by the far gate. For a second I thought they were too chubby to squeeze back out again. Apparently it’s easier to get in that get out. Why am I getting mental images of Pooh stuck in a door after eating too much honey? They did get out, after I’d waved traved around for a while to motivate them.
\nI kinda miss how it was when we first moved here. When the goats could freely walk back and forth between the goat and horse pen. It was nice having so much space and freedom. But then, right now there is almost literally zero grass in the horse pen. A combination of last year’s scorching summer and the horses’ ability to just tear that stuff up. But so it goats.

\nHad more annoying troubles with the new computer setup. Just as I thought everything was working, I noticed the audio is out of sync on my edited goat videos. So there went another few hours off troubleshooting and experimenting, messing with codecs and directshow filters and prefered decoders and, well you know. Right? OR SHOULD I KEEP TALKING ABOUT IT IN GREAT DETAIL. Okay, put down the shotgun. I’ll shut up.
\nIn fact, I’ll sign off for today. I think I got the problem solved now (famous last swords). But we’ll see. I can’t computer anymore. Gonna go do some shopping and relaxing and then to bed early to dream the sores out of my eyes. See you on the other side.
