\nDaymn, that snowgoat video has a reach of more than 100,000 people now. 15,000 Likes, almost a thousand shares. I wish I knew how that happened so I could duplicate it haha. I guess it hit the right spot in the algorithm.

\nLast night I dreamt of a giant, vast, maybe endless city of the elder gods, abandoned and seemingly falling apart from centures if not millennia of neglect. Fog drifting in and out of the giant stone buildings, like in a forest of carved stone.

\nGood goat times today. Managed to drag myself out, despite the depression whispering in my ear to just stay in and go to bed and dream it all away. It’s been hard fighting it.
\nBut I’m really glad I got out. It was a lovely day. A cold one. A snow one. An this time it was a real snow day. Not just partial coverage. It started snowing quite a bit while I was there. If it’s going to snow I’d rather have a real snowday and everything covered and the mud frozen. I love watching the snow fall.
\nLots of cuddles and treats. Sassy pooping in one of the feedboxes. Kids calling Mia’s name at the fence. A couple new christmas trees, already picked fairly clean. Good stuff.
\nAnd then when it was time for me to leave, things got really nuts. Haha. Normally when I go I pack my camera down before I leave. But beause of all the snow, and because my winter coat has bigger pockets, I decided not to pack it down. So I could take some snow pics on the way home. Because I had the camera out I did a little filming after I’d left the pen. And I sort of half-ran along the fence. And that set off the goats. They started jumping around in the snow and running back and forth. It was. So. Good. Just what I needed to see! I can’t remember the last time the goats did one of those silly circus runalongs. I guess our summer in the horse field they’d run with me. But that’s different. This was just silly running around, back and forth, snorts and jumps. I don’t think they’ve done that since we stopped going out of the pen on walks. They’d sometimes do that when we were out of the pen. It was so great to see it again. And Sassy! She was jumping and running too. I can’t remember ever seeing her move like that! Haha. She was like a kid in the snow. It reminded me of Bob chasing Mia in the snow all those years ago. So much fun. Totally worth the frozen fingerse. I could barely zip my pocket. But I do love a good snow day even if the cold is hard on me. There’s just something about goats in the snow. And after not a single snow day with them last winter, it was good to get a real fun one today.
