Good goat times today. Overcast, but the sun did come out.
\nAnd so did Jeanette! Yay. Back from vacation. I am always relieved when she comes back from vacation. I don’t think the animals get quite the same level of care when she’s not there. We talked about that too. I wish we could hire one more person like her. The rest of the staff are people focusing on the kids and young people. Wish they had one more person focusing on the animals, for the days when Jeanette isn’t there.
\nBut oh well, I’m just glad she’s back and now we can get things back to normal. We had a nice little chat about how things have gone, and it’s just good to have around.
\nWe did have a couple of mishaps today. At one point I was sitting on the ground and Bella and Luna got in a headbutting match and Luna was escaping Bella and ran right into me headfirst. Horns first. Good thing I didn’t have my head any lower down, she just hit me in the arm. But pretty hard, it’s sore now.
\nAnd then later I had picked up Red Sonja to have a closer chitchat. She’s really focused on my hands now and coming in close all the time. Anyway I had picked her up, but then Bella was standing behind me up on the log. And she took a bite out of Sonja! Well, not as dramatic as that. Sonja was fine. But Bella was sort of almost spitting out feathers. She got a little chicken fuzz in her mouth. Sheesh. Had to tell her that this isn’t KFC, I don’t think we’re in Kentucky anymore Bella.
\nBy the way did you know the KFC chain shut all thir stores down in Denmark becaus they were exposed doing really bad things hygiene wise. But that’s not important right now.
\nLots of sitting around with all the girls. And we had visitors too, sweet kids in the pen, petting the goats and running around and having fun.
\nA lovely late summer’s day in the goatland.
\nAnd now I’m going to go see a man about some soup. Myself, specifically.

\nHmm. Can’t post pic now. Maybe fb got annoyed at yet another complaint I sent about not getting notifications.

\nJeanette told me that she’d had a couple more days where she took care of Lily and Nuller at her neighbour’s place. They are still doing good. As was talked about, they have had their pen moved. If you remember when I went with Jeanette to visit them they had a little enclosure out by themselves. But they have been moved now so their pen is right by where the humans live. They have four (human) kids who bring friends, it sounds like Lily and Nuller get lots of attention. They are next to horses too and there are cats and chickens. So it sounds like they have a pretty good life there, which is just nice to hear.

\nGot an hour forty on the bike today. Feeling stronger today. Still not quite back to where I was a few weeks ago, but getting there. Feeling stronger overall.
\nI did make the mistake of getting a Pepsi & Protein delivery today and including some b&js. Just when i thought I was out, they ice cream me again. Well, it’s fine. I’m on an ok track, alternating between treating myself and denying myself, that’s not bad.
\nStill not getting notifications on facebook at all. And last night I couldn’t post at all. Also i’m having a problem with my housing organisation’s website, the place where I can see my heat and water consumption hasn’t worked for days, so I probably have to write them an email about that. I got 99 problems but an ice cream ain’t one.
\nHope you’re all doing okay out there. I’m trying to keep up with people’s posts, but it just feels pointless being on a social media site when it doesn’t tell you that people are talking to you. I appreciate you all though. You are seen. Mostly. If we’re lucky.

\nI guess because i haven’t uploaded a profile pic they use the first letter of the channel name as the logo. And what a letter it is!’
