A lovely sunny day. A little cool in the morning, but as the sun worked its charm it started rising upwards of 23C/74F. It may be the last goat day when it goes that high.
But let’s hope not. I love sitting in the sun with the goats. So beautiful and serene.
When we’re alone at least. We did get quite a bit of company today. First it was a young couple with a little kid. Not sure if it was a boy or girl, I thought they called them Thea, but then I thought they said Thøger another time. Nto that it matter. The kid really loved the goats. They wanted to pet them all and marvelled at all the things they did, it was really sweet. And the parents were really good about explaining appropriate behaviour in the goat pen and they seemed really sweet and attentative. I got an aw out of them when I had Bella giving me her paw for rubsies. And the father asked me about the camera and I told him about the facebook page. It was just all very lovely and idyllic.
And then we got more visitors, probably from the neighbouring school or something. Those kids are usually more rowdy. They don’t have that one on one parental supervision. They do have adults with them, but it’s more like one adult to 2-3 kids and it’s not quite the same. Also those kids often have some developmental issues, some of them have immigrant or refugee backgrounds and their Danish isn’t always great. They’re always sweet and fun, but they don’t always understand that you shouldn’t run or shout or in the goat pen. They aren’t mean to the goats, but hey there may have been a time or to in the past when I thought to myself “Ok, Luna. Maybe give them a little push”. Oh naughty Lasse!
But it was all good today, everyone had their fun. And when they were gone I had my alone time again with the goats, getting to sit with each one in turn in the sun. Along with the usual headbutting and silliness.
Just a really good summer’s goat day. Can’t ask for much more
I came home and had to deal with some stuff, but I’ll save the nongoats news for later. I am tired now and I need soup. And Pepsi! Burning hot soup and ice cold Pepsi. Mmm mm. That’s the stuff.
24/8 2026
—
.
Bella on one of the podiums. I have mentioned a couple of times before when i would sweep a podium and right when I was done a goat would jump up on it and start dropping berries. Well today Bella didn’t even wait. She was standing no the podium and I started sweeping it with my small brush and she just started dropping more berries. Like she was going “Oh you like sweeping hose? Here, have some more. Enjoy!”.

24/8 2026
—
.
Sky relaxing on the new pallet. She seems to like it there, sat down on it several times.
It’s a good place ato sit in the sun, with a view to the big girls on the platforms. It’s funny about Sky, she doesn’t want to be too close to Bella and Luna mostly. But she also doesn’t want to be separated from them. Jeanette has told me that when they have tried to separate her from them she will be unhappy. Goats are social creatures. She wants to be near them, but not TOO near them. She wants to be with them, but with the possibility of escape when she wants to be on her own. Good thing we have a nice amount of space and things to sit on and places she can be by herself when she needs it. I can relate. I need my space to get away from others too.

24/8 2026
—
.
Luna and the blue sky, no diamonds.

24/8 2026
—
.
Okay, nongoat news.
I came home today and found the parking space fenced still. But. The cinder blocks were gone. The parking space was actually open, there was even a car or two parked in front of our building. The temporary fencing they put up for the digging last week was just still up. Meaning you could park in front of our building, you just couldn’t walk from your car to the building entrance.
At least that’s what I thought. Until I saw a couple of kids pass through the fence right out at the edge. I went to look and you can get through. But it’s a small gap. I am not sure my mom could get through there with her walker. I am not sure the grocery delivery guy could get through there with the boxes.
So that’s not great. That sent my anxiety and depression skyrocketing. It made me just want to not be here anymore, to not have to deal with everything. The devil on my shoulder immediately going “Everything sucks,if you’re not going to jump off the balcony at least order pizza and cake and stay in bed and wallow in misery and self-pity”. Jerk.
Well, I went on fb and messaged Helle and asked if she knew anything about it. I don’t think she was available at the time, though. And after some more wallowing I decided that I couldn’t count on Helle to fix everything for me all the time, and I should try something.
So i did. Something that is difficuly for me. Something i hate. Something that triggers my anxiety even more. I… *gasp* picked up the phone and called the housing association.
I ended up spending I think more than 15 minutes on the phone. They were very nice. I got a lot of uhm and errs and directing call to someone else and hold on I’ll ask someone else and getting put on hold and stuff.
But the lady I talked to once my call was directed to the right place was really nice. She listened to me and she was very understanding. She had to look stuff up, apparently where a little confused about whether the parking space actually was open, if it was supposed to, if it should be opened up, if it should be closed until 2028, what exactly had been communicated and so on. She had to ask colleagues. She was very understanding and nice. I explained how I’m visually impaired, have back problems and other issues. And she agreed that it would be hard for me if i was not able to get deliveries for two years. She asked if I was going to be rehoused and I said no no no, I had just been rehoused from the other block. We talked a little about the delivery service and what might be possible. She was trying to offer up some possible solutions but they weren’t really anything realistic.
After a while and not really getting anywhere substantial she said she had to talk to the person who would know the most about it all. And I got put on hold for a while. And then she came back and said she couldn’t get through to that person, she might be in a meeting. She’d try again later and call back. So there was some waiting there. And then she called back. And she said that the housing assoc was going to try to put up a ramp to make it easier for people in our part of the building to have access. She couldn’t promise exactly when, but she said they would try to do it in the next two weeks. I had told her that I had a delivery coming tomorrow. We talked a little back and forth and agreed that i should try calling the delivery company and see what we could work out about tomorrow. And she told me I couldn’t get anything worked out and I had problems tomorrow I should call back to the housing assoc, and she gave me her name and told me to ask for her and she would try to help. So that was really lovely. And if that ramp gets put up then hopefully that would help with the issue. I have a hard time visualizing where it would go and how it would work exactly, if it would let my parents be able to get dropped off in front of my building of example. But hopefully they can get it done and hopefully it will make things easier. She was very sympathetic to my problems.
So after that my first thought was to just cancel the delivery tomorrow. It’s mostly a test order, there’s stuff I want but not something I absolutely need and can’t get in the grocery store. But at the point when the calls were done, it was like 20 minutse after the deadline to cancel my order. Darn. So I had to bite the bullet and *gasp* make another phone call.
I called the delivery company. And talked to a very nice lady. I explained the situation and we talked a bit and she basically said, why don’t we jus try to make the delivery tomorrow. We can tell the driver that he may need some extra time and if he has problems getting through we can talk to him on our chat and he can send us pictures if he needs to and we can try to guide him.
So that was really great actually. I had been afraid that their policy would be that if they can’t drop off at your front door then they just won’t deliver. But it sounds like that’s not the case. She was asking about other places they might be able to park etc. So it sounds like they are willing to deliver even if they can’t park right outside and they’re willing to make some effort to get to me. That could potentially make the next couple of years actually… work. So I am really hoping for that. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow, but it sounded possible.
I must have spent 25-30 minutes on the phone today. Sheesh, I can’t remember the last time that happened. You may think that it would be easier for someone with social phobia and anxiety to talk to people over the phone because you’re not face to face. But it just triggers all new levels of anxiety. So it was difficult today. I had to really overcome some fear today. But I did it. And it paid off. It’s funny how I went from feeling completely down in the dumps, severely depressed and worried and just awful. To feeling.. well, somewhat optimistic. Hopefully I can get that delivery tomorrow. Hopefully that ramp can get up soon and make things easier. There is some hope now.
If that ramp gets done I should make sure everyone in our entrance know it’s because of me and I should get all the credit for making things easier for everyone and.. wait, that would involve socializing with people. Maybe we should just keep it quiet.
But yeah that was my adventures in phoning today.
I also did some grocery shopping, to get freh fruit again. This time the cashier said the total amount. I think he didn’t do that with the other costumers though, maybe he just did it because I’m visually impaired. That would be nice of him if that’s the case, it really helps. And using my card is getting easier. There were too many people in the store though, the line at the register was so long that I went around and pretended to look at goods, hoping that the queue would shorten. I was relieved when the message came through over the speakers “staff please report to checkout line to open a new register”. There was still a line a little too long when I went out, but I made it through that too.
Phew. Challenging day, after the lovely sunny goat times.
But I suppose I should try to take the lesson that sometimes it’s good to face things head on. I know that Helle has talked to the housing assoc about the issues and was making some headway, but I think maybe it helped to be putting my particular issues forward myself in dialogue with them. I could feel that lady I talked to being sympatheetic and mulling things over and trying to come up with ideas and solution. Maybe when you’re faced with something directly affected by the situation it’s harder to just ignore it? Or maybe it makes no difference that I called, who know. But at least it sounds like things are happening.
Alright. If you read all that you deserve a cookie. That’s my cookie policy, do you accept or decline?
24/8 2026
—
.
My little slices of heaven.
You may be able to spot Bella relaxing on teh bench and catching some rays on the platform. Luna was sitting next to the photographer, as she likes to do.
Yeah, it was a good and challenging day today. Beautiful sun times with the thoats, potentially the last really sunny warm day of the season. And then challenging phone calls that yilded hopefully positive results. Quite the day.

24/8 2026
—
.
Got an hour fortyfive on the bike today. So I got that going for it.
AND I GOT DELIVERY.
Hooray. I got my groceries delivered, without problems. I don’t even know if the driver was able to get them through the fence or he parked somewhere else or if he had any problems. He didn’t say anything about. I was watching him approach on their tracker and it didn’t seem like he was going around looking for access, and he was up with my goods quite soon after it changed to “driver has arrived”. So that’s a huge relief and I am very happy about it.
Let’s hope that means that there won’t be any problems with me gettng deliveries going forward. Right now the parking space is open, there is just that fence. At some point I believe the parking space will actually be closed. So we’ll have to see what happens then. But my experience with the delivery company on this delivery makes me think they would do their best to find a way to make it work.
And hopefully the housing association will get that ramp up and that will make fix any problems there may be.
So it’s been a couple of good days. Great sunny goat times, manning up and doing phone calls, getting stuff done, doing exercise, receiving delivery. The soccerballsport club I love also won yesterday and is top of the league after 5 games.
One sad thing has happend though. I know no one reading this will know his name, but rest in peace Ole Bjur. He was my alltime favourite soccerball player from my favourite club. He was amazing in the late 90s when soccerballsport was actually good. I was shocked to see the headline, because he wasn’t that old. Super sad. Fuck cancer.
25/8 2026
—
.
The blooper reel has been updated for the premium subscribers.
I keep forgetting that putting the camera on the yellow chair is a bad idea when I go to get goodies from my backpack up on the shelf in the goat house. Because inevitably a goat will jump up on the chair to try to reach up to the backpack. And then I’ll have to shoo them down before they knock the camera over. This time I was too late and Bella won on a knockout.

25/8 2026
—
.
Aw, Dolly Parton? Man. Rest in peace. I wasn’t as such a fan of her. But I loved her. She was beyond things that made you a fan of people. She was above it all. She made the world better, and now she’s gone.
I know it’s not really any different from any other year, but 2026 sure seems to be killing a lot of people I like. Robots masy be outrunning people now, but ain’t none of us outrunning time.
Bummer.
25/8 2026
—
.
goatlog

26/8 2026
—
.
Got an hour fortyfive on the bike today. So I got that going for me.
Working hard at it. Still got the angel and the devil fighting on my shoulders. Maybe I should just take a week off and sleep half the day and sit in front of the computer and eat cake and pizza and fries and drink Pepsi and.. what could go wrong? Stupid devil. I’m starting to think he maybe doesn’t have my best inerest at heart…
But anyway, I’m working and so far it’s going well. Probably won’t be long before the tomatoes and cucumbers start getting worse. I should have started this in spring…
It’s nice having some muscles on my arms. I still have pretty skinny arms, but I remember before I got back into the fitnessing. I had zero muscle. It’s not like I’m Schwarzenegger now, but it’s nice when you flex your arm and you can feel the muscle. Even after the bad July, i’m still like 40 pounds lighter than at my heaviest. Have to appreciate that, even when I struggle. I may fail sometimes, but I also succeed. One day a day.
26/8 2026
—
.
Are you effing shirting me. Tim Curry now? What is going on. Somebody make this stop.
Gosh darned censored outburst.
Sigh.
Rest in peace. Two greats gone in two days and my favourite footballer too. This is rough.
26/8 2026
—
.
Think goat thoughts. Look at Luna’s ears. One of them up like an air controller waving in a plane.

26/8 2026
—
.
Good goat times today. Happy day with the fuzzballs. Grey and windy though. For the first time this season I felt like maybe I should have worn a jacket. Although it did start to warm up when the sun started breaking through.
No Jeanette today. She was supposed to be there, maybe she was out sick. Hopefully everything is okay.
But lots of visitors. Bunch of kids in the pen again. Some sweet one. Luna was back so it was a double shot of Luna. And there was a girl who asked what their names was and when I told her Bella’s name she said that she had dog named Bella, so that was super sweet. And coincidentally the story I was reading on my way today (from Storytime With Wil Wheaton) also had a dog named Bella. So kind of a triple shot of Bella today.
And then Lily was back. I don’t know if anyone remembers her. Not the goat Lily. But the little girl who is really fascinated by my glasses and camera. I think it must be a year or more since I last saw her? She is super sweet. Non verbal. But she came over to me, and as she has done in the past, she was pointing at my glasses and then at her own glasses. And pointing at my camera. While making her little noises. She is super sweet. It’s not many kids who are more interested in me than in the goats. Thankfully. But with Lily it’s fine.
Lots of sweet little interactions, even though it is a little much for me to have so many kids running around.
But now to relax with a potful of soup and flourballs, and a tall glass of frosty Pepsi. Not too shabby.
27/8 2026
—
.
They put up a new sign saying not to feed the animals.
This photo was taken 10 seconds before I fed the animals.
It’s okay, I’m allowed. That’s what the goats tell me anyway.

27/8 2026
—
.
Hi Sky!

27/8 2026
—
.
Okay, nongoats news.
I bet you thought you wouldn’t be hearing more about the parking space?
Welllll…
Got home today and found it completely closed. No more small passage at the edge o the fence. So that’s a new situation.
There was a digging machine working in the parking space. I am hoping. I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up. But I’m hoping it was working on establishing the ramp they promised. The big garbage containers had been moved out, they were originally standing at the side of the parking space. Maybe they have been moved to make space for the ramp to come down into our space.
I don’t know. I guess I’ll have to see. They said the ramp would be up in a couple of weeks. So they have till the end of next week. My fatalistic mind is already anticipating them not living up to the promise. But hey, prove me wrong, world!
But his is a new situation. I think with my good experience with the delivery company, I should still be able to get deliveries even if the parking space is completely closed. It should be ok. I will probably wait with my next order until the ramp is, hopefully, up soon. Since I have a stockpile of Pepsi and I am fairly ok getting fresh fruit in the grocery store (got more today) I should be able to wait.
If they WERE working on the ramp today, maybe it’s already up! Maybe!
While the deliveries will hopefully be okay either way, my parents can’t get to me if the parking space is completely closed. They woul have to go up and down stairs, and they can’t. So that ramp better be coming.
we shall see.
In other news, I got a message on the goat page messenger:
“Facebook created this chat because [redacted] commented on your post. [redacted] won’t see this until you start a conversation. You have 7 days before this chat disappears”
That is the stupidest thing in a while. One of you guys (I won’t say who!) left a perfectly fine question, just another comment. Why would facebook automatically put that into a chat? I answer questions posted in comments in replies to the comment. I don’t need facebook to try to get me into a chat. Fks sake. All this algorithm/automation/ai ought to make things EASIER.
It would be like if Keiko asked “did you get a lot of berries today” and fb auomatically inserted into a chat and asked me if I wanted to go on. Not that I don’t want to chat to Keiko, but I do my chatting mainly in comments. Those of you who try to engage with me on mesenger probably can tell, since I can be days or weeks to reply. Realtime chatting is not my jam.
Okay calm down. Sorry. I also have continued multiple tech problems. I won’t bore you with those details. I’m just frustrated and my head is getting turned upside down trying to solve issues and worrying about other things.
And you know, great people keep dying. Kristen Bell better be okay.
27/8 2026
—
.
Imagine the world’s most powerful man using a supreme executive order to.. rename a fkn lake.
How insecure must America be. It’s honestly pathetic. It tells you what the priorities are. Getting your name on stuff. Bibles, bridges, lakes, whatever.
Meanwhile selling wild horses for pennies to the meat industry.
Waging wars and making billions by scamming his followers with cryptocurrency.
And on and on and on. I know, not all Americans. It’s just so sad how he has turned everyone against America. Apart from the other neanderthal dictatorships.
🎶 he was a stupid baby, turned into a powerful freak 🎵
27/8 2026
—
.
Don’t you ever wish it was just socially acceptable to headbutt people?

27/8 2026
—
.
sometimes you just gotta let it slide.

27/8 2026
—
.
Btw, probably not many people remember it, but my first memory of Tim Curry is the TV series Earth 2 from 1994. I think I have talked about it before. It is pretty much my earliest memory of the kind of Lost type show, the so called ‘mystery box’ sort of show. Lots of questions but few answers. Scifi and mystery. It was cancelled after one season, and back then I didn’t really understand how that could happen. I mean that literally. That was before internet and I did not know that a show could be ‘cancelled’. I don’t know if Danish shows back then were ever cancelled? And with no information available, it was just a matter of… suddenly there were no more episodes and nothing was concluded.
Anyway. In that show, basically a group of people crash land on an alien planet that they were going to colonize, because blabla we wrecked our own Earth (so, it’s kind of Science Fact, not Science Fiction). But they are on this alien planet with alien species. But suddenly. There’s another human. How is this possible? They’re on a planet that humanity has never visited, 22 light years or whatever away from Earth. How is there another human?
Who was that human?
Why, it was Tim Curry of course. Before I had any idea who Tim Curry was. I just knew I loved him on the show. That Tim Curry energy cannot be denied.
I don’t actually remember if it was ever explained how his character got to be there, before the show was cancelled. I have the whole show downloaded, but it’s in crappy youtube quality. But at some point I’d like to rewatch it all. Even knowing that it ends unresolved. Must have been my first time seeing Clancy Brown too, Danziger!
Okay, this was not important. Taking it easy today. Resting my legs for more exercise in the weekend hopefully.
28/8 2026
—
.
Triple goat score.

28/8 2026
—
.
Psst, I heard he’s Lake Flaccid.
29/8 2026
—
.
Got an hour fifty on the bike today. So I got that going for me.
Working hard. Feeling stronger and stronger. Weight going down. Doing some new stretches, situps, crunches, feel like they’re doing some good fo the back.
So hey let’s hope it’s a positive trend.
Can’t believe August is almost done. That’s the end of summer in Denmark. Didn’t get the summer without worries that I had hoped for, but it sure was a hot one.
September will bring the visit to the neuro clinic. I’m not sure exactly what will be happening, but presumably more tests for epilepsy.
Where the river of times goes nobody knows, somewhere ahead it goes around the bend and who knows to where it flows.
etcetera.

29/8 2026
—
.
Uh oh. I didn’t think about it, but. I just started reading Michael J. Fox’s memoir.
Somebody check on him, please. Maybe I should stop reading it, at least until he passes, many many years from now. After I murdered Panettiere and Curry with my memoir reading powers of evil.
Anyway, so far I’m enjoying the book a lot. It took just a minute to get used to his voice, since he’s narrating it himself and obviously with his condition it’s not a perfect voice for narration. It was kind of the same thing with Tim Curry’s book, because of his stroke. But even when their voices aren’t smooth and perfect, it just adds to the experience to have the person themself narrating it.
And in Michael J. Fox’s book there are also audio guests. Like he talks about Leah Thomspon and their experience on Back To The Future and then it cuts to Leah talking. Cristopher Lloyd too! And others too. That’s pretty cool.
Also, I have to admit. I just went to the googlemachine and checked how old Harrison Ford is. Glad he’s not 80.
Getting paranoid, yo.
29/8 2026
—
.
I wish all humans could just come together in unison.
Preferably in a place far away from me, I’ll just stay with the goats.
29/8 2026
—
.
goatlog

30/8 2026
—
.
Got an hour and a half on the bike today. So I got that going for me.
Phew. Four sessions this week. Feels good, but tough. My legs are pretty wrecked now. Tired. I have dropped about half the weight I put on during Bad July. Planning to take a couple of weeks with intense diet and exercise. See if I can get the last off. That would be nice.
Scheduling a grocery delivery for Tuesday. So that will be another exciting edition of Can Lasse Get Delivered? Don’t know if the promisd ramp is up or not. But hopefully it’ll be fine.
Fall temperatures as we go into September. Below 20C/68F with probably lots of rain. Probably have to turn on my heat soon. I miss summer already.
Time to relax now.
30/8 2026
—
.
Bella relaxing. Those are two of the shelves from my old book shelf. I put them there thinking maybe it could be a spot for Sky to sit if the big girls were blocking the entrance to the goat house. But I haven’t seen them get that much use. But you know goats gotta sit on stuff if they can.

30/8 2026
—
.
Wow. I tell you what. Quitting junk food and cake has really made a difference to my budget. I have a text file where I write down every time I spend money, so I can keep track of how much I use on what etc. This month’s budget is almost one third of last months! Bad July I spent an obscene amount of money on really bad things. So stupid. Good thing I’m back on the right track and will never make mistakes again that’s for sure you can count on that he said laughing nervously, Oh by the way in the latest episode of Stuart Fails To Save The Universe they end up in a reality where humans descend from cows and so they all have four stomachs and they chew cud. I really like this show.
30/8 2026
—
.
.
—
That’s all for now.

Good goat times today.
