Ouw. I have hurt my back somehow. Last night it was completely out, excruciating pain. It’s gotten better, but still hurting. Another night’s sleep will probably sort it out.<\/p>\n

And I will not complain. I have had the good fortune of getting three visits by Moomincat in two days. So I consider myself blessed.<\/p>\n

March 1st today. That means my birthday is coming up in 15 days. In case you want to send me a new flatscreen monitor. Or Jessica Alba. Or you know, maybe a postcard for my collection? By snailmail<\/a>. That would certainly make me happy.<\/p>\n

March 1st also means that winter is officially over. I am not sure the weather has paid attention though. It has been very unstable. Yesterday it started with snow.<\/p>\n

Then it cleared up.<\/p>\n

The snow was blown.<\/p>\n

And the sun came out. Beautifully shining on the snow. At the playground Mads was sitting down and making snoring noises.<\/p>\n

He usually only does that in the summertime. But the sun had him fooled I guess. I like when he sits down and gets all quiet. Sure I love his crazy mad ways, but it’s nice to just sit next to him and scratch his ear or stroke his fur while he sounds like he’s falling asleep. At one point he was sitting next to me on the bench and half his body was in the sun and the other half in shade. I was stroking him and I could really feel the difference. The part of his body that was in the shade was very cold. The other part was so warm comfy.<\/p>\n

The sunshine did not last though. It started hailing. It started hailing while I was saying hello the lambs.<\/p>\n

It almost looked like they huddled together to keep warm.<\/p>\n

It was around that time that my back started hurting, and from then on it only got worse. But then Moomincat came to make me happy. My mother had gone out to a meeting so we had the house to ourselves.<\/p>\n

There he is.<\/p>\n

After a while he left for pastures greener.<\/p>\n

Then around midnight I was lying in my bed, with my back hurting a bunch. I was reading and then I heard a noise outside, like something in my window… I pulled the curtain away, hoping to see Moomincat. He wasn’t there though. But I heard a soft Mew outside. I thought maybe he had tried jumping up into the window sill but there hadn’t been enough space for him. So I opened the window a little further. And sure enough, 10 seconds later he came jumping up and went inside to keep me company. He stayed for quite a while. Even after I turned off the lights. He sat in the cardboard box I have out. And he got up on my bed and curled up and seemed to sleep next to me. It is the sweetest feeling. I was lying in the dark with a giant smile on my face. If we had a cheshire cat competition I would have probably won, despite the obvious disadvantage I have of being a human.<\/p>\n

Fastforward a little to today. I have been mostly tending to my back. Not doing much. I was taking a nap, dreaming of cats. There were some disturbing parts in the dream. But there were also a lot of cats jumping in through my window. Hah. It was like 101 dalmations, only cats cats everywhere cats. I woke up and was feeling groggy and then Moomincat dumped down on my bed. Maybe my catdream had called him, I don’t know. <\/p>\n

He stayed for a while on my bed and then left.<\/p>\n

What a lovely cat he is. He’s smart. If he sees a closet or a door just slightly ajar then he knows how to get it open. And he’s got the hunter instinct. I was moving my feet under my blanket and he stared at them and then pounced! Good thing the blanket was there or he woulda eaten my feet, I’m sure.<\/p>\n

Yup. Other than that there is not much to report. Got my medication renewed. The other stuff is.. being processed. There’s no time like tomorrow.<\/p>\n
