I have been feeling nostalgic today.<\/p>\n
I watched part 1 of Stephen King’s IT today.<\/p>\n
You can sort of compare the Amiga games to the IT. The IT used to scare the begeesus of me. I was so frightened that I could barely watch it. Today? It just seems a little silly. It’s not the same. And that goes for the Amiga games too. I remember them so fondly. But it’s not the same. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve gotten older, if it’s because emulators just aren’t the same as the real thing, if it’s because the PC joystick isn’t as good as the Amiga one. Or what it is. But it doesn’t thrill me as much, just likE IT doesn’t scare me so much.<\/p>\n
Some of the games are still good though. Cannon Fodder is still a good laugh. Maybe because it’s a mouse game?<\/p>\n
I had a bad dream last night. One of those I don’t like. The goats weren’t hurt. But in the dream I was aware that it was a dream. And every time I woke up, it turned out to still be the dream. I remember lying in bed, in the dream, and wondering if I was dead and this was my hell. It’s a good thing those dreams don’t happen often.
