I am a little disappointed in myself. I was going to use the Ghostbusters reference “I Am the Keymaster” as a title for the entry wherein I wrote about getting the key to the playground. But I forgot. And instead used the Lost reference ?. Durn it.<\/p>\n
This is the fourth update from work. Hopefully it will be the last. When I got home on Wednesday there was a note from the postman. He had tried to deliver a package from my ISP. So I will go pick that up today. I assume it’s a new router. Since the support guy said mine was dead. I just hope they know that I have a Cisco 677 and that they sent me another one of those. I really would prefer not to have to deal with a wireless one. But most of all I just hope my internet will be working. It’s been almost a week. Surely some kind of record for me.<\/p>\n
Can you guess what will be the first thing I do when my internet starts working? I’ll give you a clue. It starts with an L. And ends with the Danish word for cheese, “ost”. Yuppers. I know it’s a little sad to be so obsessed with a show. But in my defence, I am no longer as addicted to TV in general. I don’t watch as much TV as I used to do. Sometimes I get this odd feeling of not even caring about TV. Very odd indeed. But Lost still keeps a hold of me. When I think about it I almost get this surge in my stomach, this need to know about Walt, about Michael, about The Others about the tests, about the sail boat… and so on. There is no other show that comes close.<\/p>\n
I have been good about avoiding spoilers for the finale. It’s hard though. Right now I just want to go to alt.tv.lost or the fuselage or the lj community and read all about what happened. You know, if I don’t get my internet working today then it won’t be working before Monday at the earliest. Then I might as well read spoilers now, because I’m dying to know what happened. But if I can get the finale later today then I don’t want to spoil it. What a dilemma, Emma.<\/p>\n
I’ll stay away from the spoilers. And hope to be watching the finale tonight. And then there will be months witohut Lost. How utterly horrible.<\/p>\n
I met Karen a couple of days ago. Most of you probably don’t know or remember her. She’s way back from my time at Tousgaardsladen. The Barn. Years ago, when society dragged me out of my room tomb and started rehabilitating me. I worked at the Barn and she worked in the kitchen there. A really nice and warm woman. It was nice to see her again. My old self would have said hi and hurried away but I actually stopped and talked. Just a little. But better than nothing. She still works at the Barn and I asked her to say hi from me. I wonder if Cafer is still working there. I should pop in for a visit some time.<\/p>\n
