It’s hard to say goodbye. I went up there yesterday, before
\nwork. I just had to see her again. Out in the sunshine
\nwith her kids. I got a glimmer of hope. I asked Kurt
\nwhen he thought Mathilde would leave. And he said that
\nthey were coming to see her around 11 am. And he said
\nthat they hadn’t decided if they were going to buy her
\nor not. They were coming to look at her. I had to go
\nto work. All day I was hoping that they would not buy
\nher. But who could say no to Mathilde? When I got back
\nto the playground she was gone. Along with Nougat and
\nMandela. Nothing to do.<\/p>\n

Heart-breaking now to hear 3B and Vanilje baah. And no
\nMathilde to respond. No mother. They’re big enough to
\nhandle themselves now, but it’s still such a sad
\nthought. Poor little goats. Poor little me.<\/p>\n

I posted these in my livejournal and in my goat community. And now I will post them here. A selection of pictures of Mathilde. To remember the good times.<\/p>\n
