I did not sleep well last night. And when I woke up I berated myself for not having the courage to kill myself. Then I went and looked in the mirror and berated myself for thinking like that. And then I berated the coffee for being too hot. Nah, only kidding. I don’t drink coffee.<\/p>\n

I’m just trying to illustrate that I am not yet safe from bad thoughts. But generally I’m still doing good. I am not depressed. So don’t worry.<\/p>\n

Yesterday was my brother’s birthday. He is 27 now. Imagine that. I still see him as a little boy. But then that’s how I see myself as well. Maybe I just need to change my perspective. My mother had the night shift at work yesterday so we’re celebrating today instead. And by celebrating I just mean the three of us having dinner together. Nothing special.<\/p>\n

It has been raining and raining and raining. No snow left. I am crossing my fingers for us getting more soon.<\/p>\n

I watched Labyrinth yesterday. I am sure everybody loves it. And well they should. The special effects are looking dated but it’s still a wonderful movie. It was the perfect movie for me as a kid. That whole thing about escaping the real world. Finding a magic, fantasy world. I loved that. I always wished that our closets would one day open and reveal a passageway to Narnia. Or some such thing. Maybe that is why I love dreams today. It is the closest thing you can get to escaping to a crazy, surreal, magical world. Without going insane. Maybe that is why I love snow too. I always felt like it transformed the world into some other, magical place. Dance, magic dance. I wish there was more magic in the world. Real magic, not card tricks or illusionists. Who cares if you can make an aeroplane disappear? I want to make things appear, not disappear.<\/p>\n

I always saw myself as a bit of a Ludo type. Big, ugly beast with a heart of gold. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover etc. Luuuudo. Friend.<\/i>.<\/p>\n
