Relaxing weekend. Last weekend I was busting my back in the snow, wrestling with frozen doors. This weekend I am chilling like a laid-back hippy. Stoned on life, baby.

Or something like that.

Said hi to Nina yesterday.

Sweet kitty. The picture was washed in solar brightness so I had to readjust the saturation levels and contrast. Which probably just made it look weirder still. But hey, it’s not photography week yet! You cannot blame me. I am uneducated.

Had fun with the lambs too. It is almost shocking how much braver they are now. Just last week I’d have to lure them to me individually and be lucky to be able to hold them. Yesterday I practically had to fight them off. They were all over me. All four of them at the same time. One giant jumble of lambs, sheep and Plume. Very fun.

Been some quite nice playground times lately, with the goats walking free and the snow and everything. Makes for good videos too. So I shall post some. Starting off with a couple from yesterday.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=IHNEGO47IyE. Nina the kitty. Rolling around on the ground and stretching good. And in the second part she starts scratching at a tree. She’s got some sharp claws. Did I mention last weekend that I played footsie with her? I was warming my feet under these big hackysack pillowy things. And Nina was lying on top of the sack. And then I moved my feet around and she tried to catch them. Undoubtedly thinking that it was some tasty mouse underneath there. She’s quite fierce. At one point she had gotten up in the window sill and was looking out through the window. And then I moved my foot under the sack and immediately she flew through the air and pounced on the unseen prey. If the sack hadn’t been protecting my feet I would have had to walk home on two bloody stumps. She’s vicious when she puts her mind to it! But also sweet and cuddly.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=4NCJiORqK00. The lamb mess. Four little lambs in a frenetic fight for food. Does Plume have treats in his pocket?

As I mentioned, Magnethe and Mads have been frequently butting heads the last few days. Magnethe seems to be trying to pick fights a lot.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=uRfJKnnWYiw. In this video she tries to pick a fight with the sheep and lambs. They just ignore her.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=OQ32pH8D94w. And in this video she’s trying to pick a fight with me. She’s at least pushing me around hehe. I think she just wants some treats. If she knows I’m holding treats but not giving them out then she will sometimes try and butt me in the side. The harder she butts me the funnier I find it. Even if I go home with a sore shoulder. The video is kinda shot from a bad angle, since I’m sitting on the ground with the camera while she is pounding into me from the side. But I hope you can still appreciate the fun of it.

Also remember the bottle feeding of the lamb? And how Mads got in the picture and was very interested in the bottle? I mentioned that he did the same thing sometimes when Magnethe had food in her mouth. He’d go right up and sniff at her mouth.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WpsCy_Vt6CA. You can see that in this video. I had a slice of bread and Magnethe managed to grab the whole thing. Nothing for poor, starving Mads. So he has to investigate, see if he can grab it right out of her mouth. Funny. He does it too when Magnethe eats carrots. That sound of crunching carrots, that gets his attention. “What? Someone is eating? Eating carrots? Magnethe is eating carrots? Where did Magnethe get carrots from? Why am I not eating carrots?! WHAT’S GOING ON HERE?!”. He is a little ego maniac.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=d9RvgMDvF_Q. Some scenes of Mads in the snow. Goats and snow, that’s what I want, that’s what I need, baby you got it. Look out for the impressive jump at the end of the video.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=wBbWgUYFw0s. A video of the grandma and boy who came and said hello. The boy with Mini, and Mads hassling the grandma.

Finally, a video from home. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FZTYTNNJN1E. My home. A tour de home. A walkthrough, you might say. You should be warned that the house is very messy. So messy that it might be upsetting if you’re a neat freak. Or care about hygiene and stuff like that. I know it practically makes Skye physically ill. So don’t watch it if that sort of thing disturbs you. If you do watch it then you’ll see a glimpse or two of me. And you’ll see Technokitty in action. And you’ll hear Radiohead’s Gagging Order. That’s the soundtrack. And that was really why I made the video. I have fallen rather in love with that song and I wanted to somehow force it upon you via the gift of youtube. So listen to it until you love it.

In case you are very interested in my home here is a little guide: we start off in the computer corner. Through the living room, into the kitchen. Then into the hallway and some fun with the light switch. A peek into the dark of the front door exit hallway. Then a peek into the mostly empty room that used to belong to my brother before he moved out. Now it holds our old Amiga. And my ventilator fan that broke recently. Then back into the hallway and into the bath room. Spot the loony in the mirror. Then back to the hallway and into my parents’ bedroom. Then back into the hallway and into my room. Which is unfortunately probably the messiest place of all. I need to clean it up. Really. I swear, when I get my own place I’ll make sure not to let it degrade into such a miserable mess. Then back into the hallway and a quick edit and we’re back in the computer corner where Technokitty does a song and dance. The end.

That’s all for the videohs. We’re into March. Can you believe it? I only bring this up because my birthday is March 15th, and it probably takes a while to ship an Xbox to Denmark. So you know, get going. No but really, I would love a post card or birthday card or something like that. It would make me happy. The address is on the right, under “snailmail”. Send me a card or a picture of yourself or your left sock or that video tape you made when you were drunk at Spring Break. I’m not being greedy, I just want your money.

Halleluja.

Aah, this is more like it. Relaxing weekend.
