Oh oh oh. I remember what it was I wanted to write about yesterday. Nothing too important, though. I have found a new treat for the goats. Not an edible one. No, foot massage. Or… hoof massage, I guess. Especially the soft bit in between the two.. cloves? Or whatever they’re called. The split in the middle of the hoof.<\/p>\n
Hoof is a funny word.<\/p>\n
Anyway. They love being rubbed in there. And generally the parts around the hooves, where the leg meets the hoof. They delight in that.<\/p>\n

And the goats have of course figured out how to get into them. In fact it’s one of my first memories of getting to know the goats. That banging sound from the lids. I’d walk around and look for the goats (that was before they had their pen built, so they were always free) and then I’d hear those bangs and I’d know exactly where to find them. Sneaky goats. They’re not supposed to get in there. Luckily the sound of the lids dropping also alert the staff at the playground. Hehe.<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ZaueAs9-WOo<\/a>. Sleepy Mads. This is live action of the pictures I posted. Of Mads collapsing. Also, you can see how he always digs his feet in the ground before laying down. Like he’s digging a little hole for himself to lie in. The funny thing is that he does it even when he’s going to lie down on a bench or something like that, where you can’t dig. Lulu is so small that they don’t freak out too much, though. But see how brave Vanilje is. She actually goes up to Bodil to investigate. I don’t think you’d see Mads or Magnethe get that close to a dog out of their own free will.<\/p>\n
