Oh deary dear. <\/p>\n

After feeling dreadful yesterday I figured a good night’s sleep would help a lot. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to test that theory. Tossing and turning and not much sleeping. So today I only felt worse. No shape for fishing, that’s for sure.<\/p>\n

On the plus side I managed to call the optician today. I have been meaning to for a while. They sent me a letter saying something like “it’s been two years since you bought your glasses. A person’s eyesight can change a lot blabla we’d like to invite you to a free sight test”. How sweet of them to care about my eyesight like that. Anyway, as I have mentioned once or twice I think (maybe it was in my livejournal?) my eyesight is getting worse. Really, there is no doubt about it. I need new glasses. It’s just annoying because of two things. <\/p>\n

1) Is my eyesight going to keep getting worse? Am I going blind or something? <\/p>\n

2) Because my eyesight is so bad I need really expensive lenses in order for them to be remotely thin.<\/p>\n

I don’t really want to pay as much as I did last time. But I’ll see what they say. Maybe I can get something cheaper. Or maybe I’ll have to go look somewhere else. Or maybe I’ll just have to settle for not being able see very well. I don’t want to pay a fortune again. It sure would be nice to be able to read the computer screen without squinting though…<\/p>\n

I got an appointment for the eye test Wednesday next week. Then we’ll see what happens. <\/p>\n

So anyway, goats.<\/p>\n

Vanilje again. Being a typical goat. Your backpacks are never safe when there are goats around. A cute kid there. She crawled around on the ground. And with her mother’s help she even got to pet Mads.<\/p>\n

And there’s a goose, just because we don’t see the geese enough.<\/p>\n

It was a very warm and sunny day today. It helped my head no little amount to take my jacket off and sit in the sun and look at the animals. It is such a good feeling to be able to take off my jacket without feeling horrible and self-conscious. My how some things change. A couple of years ago I’d keep my giant winter coat on all year and sweat like a.. human, in the sunshine.<\/p>\n

Footsie rubsies. http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2lPjhZfTB4c<\/a>. A video of Mads getting his foot rubsies. It’s not a perfect foot rub because I had to use one hand to hold the camera. But Mads still enjoyed it. It looks so cute when he turns his head and looks down on the ground. He looks all shy and bashful and coy and other such synonyms. And then his mouth starts opening and closing. And when it gets really good his tongue starts slipping out. So much fun. And when I stop rubbing his foot he takes a couple of seconds to scratch his back with his horns and then he lifts up his other leg as if going “now do my other foot, please?”. And of course I do.<\/p>\n

Tonight I better sleep like a baby. So I can feel a little better. Come to think of it, having too weak glasses probably doesn’t help the old head. All the more reason to get new ones yes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
