Where are they? You probably have to look at the fullsize picture to see them. Hiding under their mother’s wings. Yes, I am rather sweet on the geeselings. They are small and fluffy and colourful. What’s not to love about that? And yes, I have decided to keep calling them geeselings. I like my little idiosynchronies. Like baahing. Yes.

Today the geeselings went outside for the first time.

Following their parents around eagerly.

Sometimes one or two would drag behind and then they’d start running and batting their little wings to catch up. Kurt was laughing while he told me about it.

They are rather lovely.

No doubt about it.

But I don’t want to make the goats jealous, so let’s have some piccies of them.

Some boys were giving them leaves. One of my favourite things about goats is how they can stretch and bend and contort themselves. Baking a mudcake of itself, almost. It’s been very hot. Thankfully less humid. Bright sunshine. The papers say we’re going to have a record summer. Record temperatures, not record lollipop eating or water balloon throwing. Although one thing may lead to another.

And lambs. Fingers crossed.

I have put the Smashing Pumpkins comeback shows on my MP3 player. Am much enjoying walking around with them in my ears. I am totally in awe of the new song Gossamer. 20+ minutes. I always were a sucker for the long, epic, sweeping songs. And Gossamer fits the bill. Epic and rocking and then slowing down with soft emotional interludes. Perfect Pumpkins.

Other than that, it’s now weekend. And TMU is closed Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is my day off. So I’m going to go hibernate for 5 days. Plume McBear. I do have something more serious I want to write about, but we’ll see if I get it done. I might just post a billion animal pictures instead. You never know.

.
Current music: The Smashing Pumpkins – bwbw (070528)
.

So yesterday I was checking for the geeselings.
