But it turns out that there is no problem at all. It rained last night, it rained a lot. And even though I, for obvious reasons, could not hear it hit the roof, I could still hear it loud and clear outside. I love lying in bed and listening to the rain, that much has not changed.

Today I went to the post office to pick up the piece of mail from Corrie. I was expecting a little letter but it turned out to be a GIANT box. Well maybe not GIANT but certainly rather large. A beautiful scented candle and a candle cup holder tingie. Sweet. My appartment shall be smelling lovely from now on. Of cedar and oakmoss. And even better she included some old stuff that I sent to her once upon a time in the dark ages when people actually sent real mail to each other. Back when the mailman didn’t have to worry about getting bit by a dog, but he did have to worry about getting eaten by a T Rex. Or something like that. Anyway, it was some incredibly sweet stuff that brought back a ton of memories. Amazing. Thank you Corrie!

For those of you who don’t know, ie all of you probably, Corrie was the first person I spoke to online. She made me download AIM and the rest is history. Long and complicated. But she definitely has a big part in The Personal History Of Plume, as my book shall be called. Some day, maybe. She was also the reason I got started writing on diaryland, which in time lead to this here blogging. Yup.

Anyway, that’s all for today.
