It’s been a rather cold day today. I even had to dig out my heavy blanket. And wear socks. Maybe summer is winding down. I would not mind. Let’s have some snow already!<\/p>\n
Other than that there is not a lot to tell about today. I have been relaxing and doing very little. I feel a little guilty that my appartment is still so messy. I must pull myself together and get everything in its right place. Tomorrow, maybe. Possibly. It could happen!<\/p>\n
We will not discuss the football.<\/p>\n
Listening to my music puts a joy in my heart. It is R.E.M. at the moment, and it is beautiful. Live music is like candy in audio form.<\/p>\n

I made mashed potatoes today. From powder. Sometimes I prefer the powdery stuff to the real deal. Sometimes not. I’m a complicated banana. I realized that I didn’t have any measuring devices. I needed 5 deciliters of water and so I had to get my brain going. Eventually I found a plastic cup that holds 50 centiliters of water. So then I had to do some complicated mathematical equations. After which I realized that 50 centiliters is in fact the same as 5 deciliters. Isn’t it? Well the mashypotatoos turned out okay so I can’t have gotten it all wrong.<\/p>\n
And my fridge is full of bottles of various liquids. I love cold drinks and I love having my own fridge that I can fill without having to leave space for all the horrible stuff my mum always gets. I love not having to fear that something ends up smelling of onions just from being put in the fridge. I love not having to worry about whether the knife will leave a taste of onion on the bread when I butter it. And don’t tell me I’m crazy, it has happened. I have had to throw out perfectly good sandwiches because somehow, from somewhere, a taste of onion crept in. I love having a kitchen where I don’t have to worry about there being or having been onions anywhere. It is a freedom I have longed for.<\/p>\n
But for the last damn time, WE ARE NOT DISCUSSING THE FOOTBALL.<\/p>\n
