No, not my mother’s world famous chicken soup. That’s a little too complicated for me yet. But a nice pot of elderberry soup. When it was done I realized that I do not have a ladle! Oops. I had to pour the soup from the pot straight to the bowl that I ate from. It worked okay, though. Nice flourballs.

Also it turns out that I was not stood up. By my new best friend, as I like to prematurely call him. He came round today and gave me no less than two copies of World of Warcraft. With free trial periods. Although he wasn’t completely sure that any of them actually work. But he gave me his phone number as well and told me to call him if I had any problems. And he also said “you’re like never home”. So I take that as meaning that he did indeed come by while I was napping. And maybe once or twice after that as well. What can I say, I’m a busy guy with a hectic lifestyle! I’m sure that will all change if I get hooked on Wow, though. We’ll see.

Today was the big laundry day. Only it turned out to not be so big after all. My dad came and we went to the laundry room together. A couple of blocks away. When we figured out how to use the service input computer thing, it turned out that somebody had reserved the room already. So we made reservations for ourselves on Monday. And then we’ll try again. All those darn machines look so complicated with a million different washing programs and pre-soap and washing liquid and blowdrying and supermegacleanor exclamation points. I know it’ll get easier once I’ve actually tried it. I feel a little safer with my dad there, though. That way I can turn to him if the machine suddenly starts going “error! error! error! program malfunction! reset system! boot! kill all humans! kill all humans!”. I’ll turn around and say “daaaaad…”. Yes.

No worries.

We went back to the appartment and had a nice little football chat. And then he invited me to a trip to Greenland. Yup. And I accepted too. I think that surprised him a little. I usually say no to all the trips and holidays and vacations. I don’t have any interest in going to Mallorca or Portugal or Egypt or places like that. Too hot and too many people and travel and all the things I don’t like. But Greenland I like. And my dad does too. He’s been a teacher there for 2 periods of 3 years, so he’s spent a lot of time there. And I think he was happy that I wanted to go. It’ll be a while, I think he said October next year. The whole family will go. So that will be interesting. I like how he describes it, how quiet and peaceful it is. And of course there’s snow. I love snow. So Greenland is a place I’d like to go.

So that was nice.

From the playground. Video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SRpbxC6PNCc. Me and the goats. I love Magnethe there. She is so beautiful. It’s lovely to just sit and trace my finger across her face and scratch her a little. Wonderful.

Some bad news too, though. One of the pigs have left. I’m not sure I mentioned it back when they first arrived. But it was always the plan for only one of them to stay permanently. I just sort of forget about it. And they were both supposed to stay until christmas or end of the year. So it was a little sad to see one of them gone. The remaining one is big and lovely though. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tIWLDWGC4Lw. You’ll hear me laugh in the video, because she shook herself and sent mud flying on me. And her name is Gertrud. I’m not a 100% sure of the spelling, but something like that. Hopefully she’ll have a long and happy life at the playground now.

That’s all for today. Bye bye everybody.

Today I made soup for dinner. No, not my mother’s world famous chicken soup.
