Hmm. Yesterday I suddenly experienced a complete emotional shutdown. Felt very bad all of a sudden. I ended up going to bed. It wasn’t even 9 pm. I’m not sure what happened. And I slept the whole night through, pretty much. Woke up a couple of times, but just turned over and fell back asleep. I got up at 7:30 and felt nice and fresh. Odd. Maybe I just needed a long sleep like that.<\/p>\n

I made more elderberry soup.<\/p>\n

Mmm. I like elderberry soup. I could have arranged it a bit classier, but this ain’t haute cuisine. And as you can tell, I REALLY like my flourballs.<\/p>\n

Let’s say hi to the buck again.<\/p>\n

I like what Debster said ” If his ears were any longer, he?d be stepping on them”. They match the length of his beard nicely there. He’s making more sounds now, funny buck sounds. <\/p>\n

Magnethe and Vanilje still don’t seem impressed, they prefer to run away from him. And Magnethe something butting horns.<\/p>\n

And Mads is naturally no too pleased with the situation. It’s really rather unfair, to suddenly have to share the place with a buck who is not only “intact” but also bigger than he is.Suddenly he’s not number one in the hierarchy.<\/p>\n

Most of the time they just stay apart and there’s no real trouble. And he won’t be staying too long, the buck. So things will be back to normal soon, Mads. I hope his ego doesn’t get hurt. I make sure that he feels that he’s still number one with me. It’s sweet when he comes running to me. <\/p>\n

He’s got his own little box inside the pen now. Kurt told me that when they put the goats inside then Mads runs straight to his own box, he doesn’t feel like sharing space with the buck if he doesn’t have to.<\/p>\n

It was a sunny day today, always nice when the goats sit down and relax in the sun. Especially when I get to sit down next to them.<\/p>\n

Kurt had just put a bail of hay in to her and she grabbed it with her mouth and flung it all around. You’ll hear Kurt and I laughing in the video.<\/p>\n
