We’re into October. That means I have been living on my own for two months now. How about that. I think I can safely say that moving out has been one of the best things that have ever happened to me, if not the<\/i> best.<\/p>\n

I don’t know why I was so afraid of it. It’s been much easier than I thought it would be, really. Sure I still have lots of problems and things to deal with. But I don’t count living on my own as a problem, not anymore. If we disregard the recent tragedy, that which we do not want to think of, then it has been pretty much all positive. <\/p>\n

I’m almost a little surprised. I’m actually doing it. And fairly well. It’s a good feeling. For so long I pictured myself as the posterboy loser, living at home at 30 with nothing and no one and no future. I still don’t know if I have much of a future, but I’m living on my own. So at least I have accomplished that.<\/p>\n

Today I received the payment for the Seinfeld DVDs. The Cash On Delivery think worked out okay. I had been a little worried, but no need for that. So in two days I have sold my Simpsons and my Seinfeld collection. That makes the budget look a little better, after my reckless spending on Tina tickets.<\/p>\n

Vanilje and Magnethe. A family came and gave some leaves to the goats. Vanilje got a mouthful there, and Magnethe is investigating whether she can steal some of it. And she did actually manage to grab the branch and leaves right out of Vanilje’s mouth. It’s a constant fight for survival in the goat world.<\/p>\n

Finally, a youtube I found. http:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=ponB8Hd_lG4<\/a>. The Snowman. I found it on youtube last night. I had previously looked for it without luck. But there it was. It made me more or less decompress, a thousand memories, nostalgia, melancholy, regret, joy. Everything. I’m sure you know it. The animated movie. The snowman coming alive and taking flight with the boy. To Walking In The Air. I find it endlessly beautiful and wonderful. You know I love snow. The idea of making a snowman and having him come to life, it fascinated and thrilled me. And I would look forward to watching it every christmas. Mens Vi Venter. “While We’re Waiting”, the christmas day show. Disney postcards and traditions. So many memories and feelings. Watching it makes me feel like a robot from a bad sci-fi show, you know when the robot shuts down because of emotional overload or a logical dilemma or something. Too much input.<\/p>\n

I am however horrified at this http:\/\/youtube.com\/watch?v=xfiqrkV_ZqI<\/a>. I cry rape. How could they possibly do that? Oh dear. I was practically tearing my hair out as I was searching for the “real” snowman on youtube and coming up with only that. Sell our memories, why don’t you?<\/p>\n
