But let’s not get all pessimistic. At least no one has blown up my car. Mostly because I don’t have a car, of course. But someone planted a bomb in the car of a police officer who was visiting his family here in Gellerup Parken. That’s where I live, Gellerup. This police officer is an immigrant and a good role model for young second generation immigrants, of which there are a lot here. But some people don’t think that being a productive member of society is a good idea, so they bombed his car to get the idea across. You have to love humans, they are such sensible creatures.<\/p>\n
I believe I actually heard the explosion. But it’s fireworks season, so it didn’t especially phase me. I wish they wouldn’t sell fireworks until.. December 30th. I don’t need two months of people walking around throwing mini-bombs.<\/p>\n
I did a Google news search to see if I could find an English version of the story, but all I came up with was ”Police seek public help for kangaroo afoot in Denmark”<\/a>. It’s a man’s life in the Danish police force.<\/p>\n My dad brought me chocolate yesterday. To thank me for the VCR\/TV programming. Sweet. I like Chocolate. No, it’s true. I swear. I would not lie about that.<\/p>\n Scrubs is back. For the 7th and last season, as far as I know. I will enjoy it while it lasts. I love their musicality. Today they featured Heartbeats<\/a>. It’s a lovely, lovely song. I never knew it was a cover<\/a>, though. The Knife. Pretty cool, and weird. Although I prefer Jose Gonzalez’s acoustic version.<\/p>\n We had a promise made, we were in love<\/i>. I still get regular google hits from the last time I wrote about that song. From the Sony Bravia commercial<\/a>. I love all those bouncing balls. I hate when I love commercials, because at some point sooner or later the thought strikes “no matter how cool or beautiful this is, it’s still a prostitute dressed up to sell me products”.
