Election day today. I duly went and voted. It is now evening and the results are slowly rolling in. Too early to tell anything for sure yet, but I am quietly confident that the government has bribed its way to another term. Who cares about the lies, the illegal wars, the downfall of welfare, the xenophobia. As long as the taxes don’t rise and the rich stay rich then we can ignore all that. All hail to the crook.<\/p>\n
A much harder decision was the one about Lana, the kitten. I have decided to say no to the offer. As amazing as the offer was, and as amazing as the kitten was. I hope this doesn’t upset Desiree too much, or Lana too much, or any of you others too much. It was a very hard decision. Mostly because Lana was so incredibly beautiful and cute, really the perfect looking kitten in my book. For a while I have felt like it would be best for me to wait and get a cat at a shelter like I had originally planned. But I put off the decision because every time I saw pictures or heard little stories about Lana, it melted my heart. I will probably regret my decision. I will probably think myself a fool. In the end though, I think it is the Luna thing that still stings too much.<\/p>\n
