And it was chicken<\/i> soup. I know I said it was going to be duck instead, but I guess I misunderstood my dad. He said he couldn’t get a hen. And for some reason I got it in my head that he got a duck instead. But no, he got a “hane”. A.. rooster? A male. So male chicken soup, I guess. I’m not a chef, don’t question me on the finer points. What matters is that it tasted swell. Although there was a little less of it than usual. So I probably won’t be able to bring home a giant pot of it, no. But I’m invited over for more soup tomorrow. And then we’ll see if there’s any left over for me to steal away. In any case, deeelicious.
