I’m in a better mood today. Can you guess why?<\/p>\n

I’ll give you a hint: they have 16 legs and 8 horns. If you add them all up.<\/p>\n

Look at sweet Vanilje. See anything different about her? She’s getting a beard! Well, she always had a little goatbeardness, but that tuft of hair sticking out, that’s new. She’s only had that for a couple of weeks or so.<\/p>\n

My little girl is growing up. Soon her beard will be longer than mine. I’ll have to teach her how to shave and have a little talk with her about the birds and the bees. The circle of life, etcetera.\t<\/p>\n

Mads was duelling the christmas tree. And then suddenly the theme to Jaws started playing (in my head, possibly) as the buck approached from behind.<\/p>\n

This bench isn’t big enough for the both of us! I still find it a bit cute how Mads baahs nervously when the buck gets too close. It’s not a scared baah. Just sort of.. “baah, what are you doing? I’m not a girl goat, get away from my butt”. I think Mads is a little homophobic.<\/p>\n

\"magnethe\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There’s a typical Magnethe situation. Often when Mads is standing on the bench to my right, then Magnethe is on my left. But sometimes she’s gone to the other side, and is behind Mads there. Then if I give Mads a treat she’ll almost try to wedge her way in there, so she can have a bite too. Of course if Mads senses that she’s there then he’ll swiftly turn his head and butt in her direction. It’s always dangerous when you’re fighting for your treats.<\/p>\n

\"magnethe\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And that last picture is of course a bunch of hay that has mysteriously grown horns. … Or maybe Magnethe is just trying to see how far in her head will go.<\/p>\n

Yes, everything is much better with goats.<\/p>\n

I talked to Jannie today, and she agreed to feed the animals on Saturday. So that means I can go to the “wedding”. I’m sure it’ll be nice, and at least quick. I don’t think I would have liked to spend hours in a crowded church. But 20 minutes in the mayor’s office, that should be manageable. We’ll see how it goes. I wonder if I can get the goats on the guest list? If they promise to behave.<\/p>\n

We’ll see. That’s all for now. I’m tired and my bed is calling. “Plume” it calls. “I have a special dream for you tonight. Pamela Anderson, season 4 of Lost and all the gummi bears you can eat”. Oh boy, oh boy.<\/p>\n
