Remember my complaints about cold feet? Well today I took action. I bought myself a pair of slippers. And a heating blanket. Or pillow, I guess. It’s thin like a blanket but small like a pillow. Now surely my feet will be warm as if I am walking on hot coal.<\/p>\n

Maybe. I can hope. They were both quite cheap so I figured it was worth the try. I have been wearing the slippers all day and they seem to do good. They’re not very fashionable, though. Granny slippers, I will call them. But if they keep my toes warm then I just have to accept the fact that I am no longer a prime candidate for the cover of Vogue.<\/p>\n

Hey, is that Vanilje with a carrot!? Deja vu much? Maybe she just likes carrots a whole lot, yes I think that’s it. That one was a big carrot, though. She couldn’t get it all in her mouth and grind it down. Instead she had to walk around and move the carrot around in her mouth to get good positions to chew at it. It’s hard to eat a big carrot when you don’t have hands. Bugs Bunny don’t know how lucky he is.<\/p>\n

The buck trying to get in on the carrot action. That always makes me laugh. When one goat gets hold of some food and another goat goes right up to it and starts sniffing around its mouth. “What is that, is that food? Do you have food and I have none? There’s something very wrong here! Maybe I can grab that carrot right out of your mouth..”. <\/p>\n

Mads is cute and a dorable.<\/p>\n

Mads again. With his head in a funny position. He is scratching his back with one of his horns. Sometimes when he does that his head will be poking out funnily and rocking back and forth with the scratching motion and I’ll put my face up close to his and he’ll just keep scratching himself and even though our faces are right up next to each other he still seems like he’s in another world. I amuse myself easily when I’m around goats.<\/p>\n

The highly amusing Magnethe. She’s big isn’t she? I remember Kurt said that once a goat has had triplets then odds are that she’ll keep having triplets. So there oughta be three kids in there. I hope they’ll come soon. She still seems quite frisky and energetic though, Magnethe. I remember when she had her first kids, just before they came she was so huge and she wouldn’t move around much, she’d just sit and complain. So maybe there’s still a while before she’s due. but the sooner the better, as far as I’m concerned.<\/p>\n

Magnethe and the buck under the tree. Maybe the buck will stay around for the kids to be born? I’m pretty sure that if Kurt hadn’t had those health problems then he would have taken the buck back to his place again by now. But I don’t know what the plan is now. <\/p>\n
