Tonight is daylight saving time in Denmark. The good one. The one where I get to sleep an hour extra. There should be more phony, made-up things that give you an extra hour of sleep. “Ah, today is banana cuckoo fish dish day, I get to sleep an hour extra”. I’d like that.<\/p>\n
I am always a little worried that I’ll forget to set my clocks, though. And spend the rest of the year one hour out of sync with the rest of the world. Wouldn’t that be a horror? Imagine all the tv shows I’d miss. I shudder.<\/p>\n
Otherwise there is not much adillying. Slept a whole lot last night\/yesterday. Oh and I got my insurance policy, did I mention that? I am officially insured. Also my “no junk mail please” sticker seems to work a treat. I didn’t get any junk mail this weekend either. So that is swell. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, it is cold, very cold. I’m going to have to switch from t-shirts to longsleeves soon. Maybe even have to turn on the heating system. When I get tired of chattering teeth.<\/p>\n
I have been invited to the annual christmas party at the playground. November 21st. I have all the usual worries and apprehensions and dancing phobia demons in my head, but of course I must go. The last two have been overall good experiences. Although I dread the conversation turning to Mads this year, I’m sure he will come up and I don’t know if I’ll break down and cry in front of everyone. Or just sit quietly and nod at how sad it is. I still miss him terribly. Every now and then it’ll enter my mind and I have to say “stop” out loud (but in my head) to stop the sad thoughts pouring in.
