Rest in peace, Bob Saget. Way way way too soon. I grew up unironically loving Full House, and I say that because I know a lot of people think Full House was the worst garbage ever. And it was, in a way. But it was also, to me, the quintessential laugh-track family sitcom and it did what it did to perfection, and it ran over and over on one of the 2-3 tv channels I had access to as a kid and young guy.
I loved Bob Saget on the show. And then later in life I discovered the real Bob Saget and it just says a lot about his acting skills that he could portray the most genuine SFW lovely father for that long and then in real life be soo wickedly inappropriate and funny. I love that. It made it a million times funnier when you realised the truth. He just seemed like the best, funniest guy and everyone only has good things to say about him.
What a bummer.

Season 2 of Resident Alien is coming up soon, and I am looking forward to it.
In case you haven’t watched it, it’s basically about an alien who has come to kill all humans.
From the trailer it looks like season 2 will see the aliens sending replacements/backups because our resident alien isn’t getting the job done.
And i just can’t help but silenty wish that John Lithgow would appear. Haha. Like a dark version of Dick Solomon. Heck, the entire Solomon family could show up and i’d be so happy.
I know it won’t happen, but oh I can dream.
I highly recommend the show. Alan Tudyk is brilliant. Seeing him and Lithgow square off would be epic.
Resident Alien and Kevin Can F Himself were probably my two favourite unexpected great new tv shows of last year. Hope they can keep it up for their second seasons.

Praise the almighty goats above. I got a mail from the housinge organisation saying to disregard the previous mail. So no anteaters on Friday. I don’t have to have strangers in my apartment. That’s a load off my mind!
Now if only i’d found out before I rescheduled my booster appointment and postponed it a couple of weeks.. oh well. I’m just glad I can stop worrying about Friday.

Good goat times today. Got out and goated, thankfully. I’ve been having a hard time doing anything but staying in bed. But it’s always good to see the goats. And be seen by the goats. Treats and hugs all around. Some sweet visitors too, I got the goats over to the fence so the goats could get petted. The pavement tiles on the ground have helped a lot with the flooding there used to be on the path between the goat house and the fence. But the general situation is still quite muddy, so the goats need some encouragement to make the trek over to the fence. But I think the kids appreciated it, and their grownup thanked me when they left.
We have a new resident in the goat pen too. Don’t get excited, it’s not a new goat. Or any other living being. … I THINK. I’ll show you later

Here’s our new resident in teh goat pen.
Well, I’m not sure if he’ll be sticking around. I’m not even sure he’s a he. But I foudn him ah-moosing. Wait, is he a cow? I’m not sure about that either.
Anyway, I found him in the goat pen so I thought I’d take some photos. The goats didn’t care too much about it, except when I moved him around. Then he was scary! Funny, same thing with my tripod. And a water trough I use to put my camera on some times. Apparently when I move stuff around they think ‘oooh sheet, I gotta run!’.
Anyway, say hi to Cowzilla.

Good goat times today. Managed to get myself out, after yesterday’s fail. Got out early enough to enjoy a lovely sunrise in the horizon. It was cold, just below freezing. Frost here and there. Got some new christmas trees for the goats, that’s always nice for the season. And we had some sweet visitors, a kindergarten group at the fence. I got the goats over to them and they all had a good time. Mia practically hanging out the fence, getting petted. They thought she was a boy because of her impressive horns. Don’t judge a goat by the horns, kids, nor the beard.
Oh yeah and Lily was blubbering and snorting again. Not as much as last time, and everyone else was pretty chill. But that girl seriously could use a boyfriend! She’s so funny.
Just good to get goating again.

Well fiddlesticks and fuddlenucks. I had a date for a booster on Friday. But I’m going to have to cancel. Because my housinge org want come and bust ants. On Friday. Apparently there has been ant problems in our blocks. I don’t think i’ve ever seen an ant in my apartment. But they need access to the whole building. Between 7 and 13. Great. So i’ll have to reschedule my booster. And worse, i’ll have to have strangers in my apartment. I can’t think of many things worse. I’m already feeling the anxiety creep in. But I guess I’ll just have to try not to think about. And call the doc and get another booster apt. Grr argh.

And a happy posthumous birthday to David Bowie. I am currently up to Diamond Dogs in my chronological Bowie journey. Taking my sweet time and enjoying every album one by one.
I only wish I had more live concerts of his. Growing up as a fan of the Smashing Pumpkins they had a huge recording scene and i had hard drives full of mp3s of concerts from every era. I used to listen more to the live shows than the actual albums.
So if anyone knows where to get live Bowie shows on the mp3, please send me a message. The album before Diamond Dogs on my Bowie list was a ‘David Live’ bootleg and that was excellent.
