Good goat times today. Good to get out and goat. I was greeted by the goats. Literally, the newbs running towards me out of the pen. Whoops, haha. The gate kinda swings open on its own if you don’t lock it and I guess the morning guy had just been there when I arrived. Well, no problem. The newbs ran towards me and then ran with me back into the pen. For treats.
Other than that the main highlight of the day was the arrival of a new christmas tree. From next door. The kindergarten kids were out playing and then to many cheers one of their adults dragged a big christmas tree from the kindergarten to the goat pen. And the goats excitedly digged in. Love those pine fresh goat smooches. That might be the last tree of the season. I think we got 4 or 5 ones. maybe a couple of small ones. Not too bad. And the goats will be nibbling on their corpses for months.
Wait, wasn’t that the plot of a Hans Christian Andersen tale?
Fun fact in Denmark he is only referred to as H C Andersen. Well, sort of spilfy I guess.

Loved it! It was great seeing Amy Sedaris again. She speaks Jawa! I can’t remember if she spoke Jawa on the Mandalorian or if that’s new information, but it just makes me love her even more. I’d marry her, but I don’t know if she exclusively dates Jawas. Haha. That was so great. The starfighter, the droids, beggar’s canyon, womp rats. I read some article recently, or rather saw a headline, saying something about how Star Wars needed to ditch Tatooine, and I just wanna say F U buddy. More Tatooine. The more the better. So good.
When Mando had to drop all his weapons to get on the space flight I couldn’t help thinking of Billy Rosewood from Beverly Hills Cop opening the trunk of his car and just having a shirtload of guns in there. Weapons, weapons so many weapons. Haha.
An Mando misses Grogu. Aww. It was great spending time with Mando again. How long until season 3 of the Mandalorian?

Who’s got two thumbs and three pricks? This guy.
Got my booster today. After the previous ant postponement. But now it’s done.
To be honest I was starting to wonder if I even needed it. Looks like the omikron variant, which is also the name of my favourite Charlton Heston movie, is fairly benign. Infection numbers are high in Denmark, but hospitalized and intensive cases are steady. I think most of the restrictions are being phased out on Tuesday. It’s starting to look like the critical part of the pandemic is fading and now it will be, as they say, something like the flu and something that we just have to live with. Still, seeing as though I have pre-existing conditions and my family is pretty high-risk, I felt I should probably get it anyway.
Feeling okay so far. My parents got their booster recently, and I think my mom was just fine, but my dad got pretty unwell and was doing poorly for quite a while. And I’ve read that some people have bad reactions to the third shot. So I’m prepared for the possibility that I might feel bad at some point. My 5G reception is through the roof though.
Hope you’re all doing okay out there. Let’s hope the pandemic will go away so we can get to the next thing that humanity will do to destroy itself. Anyone want a carbon kiss?

Other than that I’m feeling fine. I am however really tired, since I stayed up all last night. So I think I’m just going to go to bed and we’ll see how I feel when I get up tomorrow. From a scale of Kevin Sorbo to Joe Rogan, right now I’m about at a Scott Baio.

Good goat times today. It was storming all last night, and there was still a harsh cold wind this morning. But at least it was funny.
And the goats were in a mood. Mia was running around with her tongue poking out, humping Nuller, Sassy and Lily. Seesh, she was getting busy! Hahah. And there was a lot of hustle and bustle. I think they were pretty hungry, because it turned out the morning guy hadn’t fed them yet. Normally they’ve had their buckets goat feed before I arrive. But not today. Not like they weren’t hungry after they’d had their food. Later on I was handing out apples and again Mia was in fine form. She was grrrrowling like grandma. Huffing and puffing and pushing the others away. Jumping up with her front legs on me too, she almost managed to headbutt me in her eagerness. I couldn’t help laughing. The little ones did their fair share of headbutting and chasing too. Good way to keep warm in the cold wind.

Spookily enough I dreamt about Traci last night. I did something dumb in the dream and was afraid she’d be mad at me, but she didn’t care and just hugged me. Aww. Aw dang. Rest in peace Louie Anderson. He seemed like such a sweet, kind and funny person. I only really became a fan of him when he was on Baskets. He played Zach Galifianakis’ mother. it’s the kind of thing where you think ‘is this a joke?’. But it was absolutely serious and it was beautiful. Baskets wasn’t a particularly popular show I think, but it was one of my favourites and Louie’s performance was one of my favourite things on tv ever. Beautiful poignant, endearing and funny.
Man, 2022 isn’t pulling any punches. I know it’s inevitable as time marches on, people will keep on dying. But it feels like January has been a rough one.
Also rest in peace Meat Loaf. I can’t say I was a huge fan, but I absolutely, and again unironically, loved I Would Do Anything For Love. I think it was before I really found my own taste in music and Meat Loaf was not really part of that taste. But yeah that song was everywhere all of the time in Denmark too and I loved it, and the music video which was on heavy rotation on Danish TV as well.

Well well well. Do I have any American friends who are into soccerfootballsports?
No? None okay, nevermind.
Haha. Looks like the topscorer of my beloved Danish footballsportsclub is transfering to Philadelphia Union, which is a club in America if I am to believe my sources. Surprising, the rumours said he was going to the French league. But his contract was up in 6 months so we had no choice but to sell. He’s been absolutely great for us, one of the big profiles last year when we won our first championship in 16 years. It will be interesting to see how he does in America. I have no idea what level the MLS is these days, but it’s probably still a higher level than the Danish league. Another one of our ex players is Hany Mukthar who is apparently doing super supwer well inNashville SC. Let’s hope Uhre will have similar success.
