I forgot how nice it can be to read Danish fiction. I read almost entirely English stuff. Reading a Danish book is like.. coming home. Everyday life instead of the fantastic. There’s value in everyday life too.

Good goat times today. Wonderfully warm and sunny. Most summerly ahoy. When I got to the playground I was greeted by the goats who were out in the dark forest. Because they can do that now that there’s passageway between their pen and the pasture. They haven’t boarded it up. And I didn’t get reprimands. That could still come of course. And I still feel bad about doing it the way I did. But I’m glad the goats have free range of all the facilities. We took advantage of that today. Running in the pasture. Trimming the trees. Relaxing on the bench. I think Mia and Mio actually prefer sitting in the dirt at the entranceway to the pasture rather than in the grass in their own pen. Now that the mud is try that dirt patch is a good place to relax. Being able to pass through the fence also came in handy when the horses got worked up because it was time for them to move to the other pen across the path. Once the first one gets taken out the others get all in a hufflepuff until it’s their turn. And they start running around, whinnying. Mia and Mio took that as their cue to run to the hole in the fence and retreat to safety in their own space. Haha.
But oh, it seems that A38 has found a way to get through the old passage, the one that was boarded up. She went through there a couple of times. i guess it’s because she’s smaller, she must be able to fit through even though that way is still boarded up. Now if only she could have shown Mia and Mio how to do that last week, I wouldn’t have had to break through the other fence! Oh well.
We had visitors too. A daycare or kindergarten group. I went over to htem and got Mia and Mio to follow me so the kids could have a closer look. And the goaties could be properly adored and petted. One girl kept saying “they’re so cute.. and so beautiful!”. Amen. They had lots of questions too. And one of the adults they were with had some questions too. He didn’t think lady girls had horns and beards. I pointed out A38’s beard to him. Haha. She’s rocking that goatee.
Good day .I hope the weather stays like this. It’s almost getting so warm that walking home is starting to be challenging. But still so much nicer than walking home in the cold. I won’t complain. I’ll probably need to start bringing a bottle of iced water soon, though.

Haha. Now I’ve been approached by ‘Viralhog’ for licensing of the video of Mia on my back eating leaves. Maybe I should get a bidding war between them and Jukin Media.
Actually I’m feeling a little stressed over it all. I still haven’t read the contract Jukin Media emailed to me. All I want is to watch the new episodes of Twin Peaks, but my eyes are messed up as they often are late on a day spent outside.

Had a scary dream last night. Not surprising, since I watched 3 episodes of the new Twin Peaks before going to bed. In the dream there was someone lying next to me in my bed. I couldn’t see them in the dark. I was sort of lying on my side with my back to them. And they had one arm around me. And I couldn’t tell if it was a sort of loving, spooning gesture. Or someone holding on to me to stop me from escaping. Like a mouse being held by a lion, waiting to see if it wasn’t to snuggle or eat you.

Good goat times today. Another beautiful day. Warm and sunny. Bit of a cold wind, but still very summerly. It’ s a Holiday, so the place was closed in the morning. Good thing I was there to take the goats out. We had several groups of visitors that got some nice time with the goats. And we did lots of lazy lounging in the sunshine too. Pretty pretty good.

In my dream last night there was a fully formed song that would probably be a top 50 hit if I could remember it all. All I can remember right now is something about sleeping with the lghts on. Also I was riding a horse, only it wasn’t there. It wasn’t even an invisible horse because I still had two legs on the ground, but I was still riding a horse.

Agurklesnorks. Super hot day for exercise. Kicked my butt. Unfortunately my legs felt kinda weak so I didn’t get the most out of it. But it was still good. I love exercising in the blistering heat, because I’m insane. Tried something new today. Throwing ice water in my face. Haha. I’m not sure it’s as satisfying as throwing a glass of water in the face of a date behaving inappropriately, but it did give a good jolt. Now it’s tomato time, for me.

Good goat times today. Lovely weather. Mostly sunny with some light clouds. And the temperature was just right. T-shirt weather. I was the first to arrive this morning so I couldn’t let the goats out in the pen, since Black Beauty blocks that exit. Had to take the goats out on the pasture. Of course I didn’t mind, since they’ve blocked the usual passage between pen and pasture. Nice to be out in the pasture again. Snacking on the trees around the fence. Running with Mia. Relaxing lazily in the dirt. And once the horses joined us in the pen there were several funny “oh ship, there’s a horse coming out way. We’re outta here” moments from the goats. I really hope we can get something worked out so we can go back and forth between the pen and the pasture again. I enjoy both places. When it was time to leave I actually left the goats in the pasture instead of putting them in the pen. A little anarchy, a little message. Me and the goats against the world.

Heading to bed. So, i’ve been approached by someoen from ‘Jukin Media’ who wants to discuss licensing the video of Mia on my back. Hmm. Looked them up on wikipedia, and turns out they’re behind the Chewbacca mom video. Haha. I don’t know. I’m not really interested in making money off the goats and I don’t know how legit this guy is. Well, I sent a reply to the Jukin folks. Regarding my video. Cautiously hesitant. I may have screwed myself over by giving that other page permission to use the video. As thrilling as it is seeing 1½ million people have watched it, it may mean the video is no longer commercially interesting for an agency. Right are complicated.
I do have several other videos showing similar scenes, though. So that’s kinda what i’ve told them. And that I, as such, am not that interested in making a profit off my videos. More interested in getting visitors to my Facebook page so more people can enjoy the goats. In it for the love, not the money.
We’ll see what they say. Maybe they have no interest now. Maybe my rambling email makes me more trouble than I’m worth dealing with, haha. Maybe they’ll still want to offer me something. I don’t know.
Seeing as I’m on disability in Denmark, getting a checque from America might be more hassle than it’s worth. It might mess with my welfare, I’d have to figure out my taxes. I don’t know. If they were offering me 100,000 dollars maybe it’d be worth it but I’m not expecting anything like that. Hmm hmm. We’ll see what they say. My position is, I really have nothing to lose since I’m not expecting anything. Even if they ripped me off, I’d be no worse off than I am now. I don’t see the goats as an asset that I need to make bank on. As long as I still have them for company, I’m good.
I was toying with the idea of funnelling the pofits to Esther the wonderpig and her sanctuary. That would be a lovely thing to do for them. But maybe that would be complicated too. I don’t know.
They’re the ones who’ll have to work to win me over, I have no problem with nothing coming from this. I must say, they have seen quite motivated. I think they’ve contacted me on every social media platform that I’m represented on. Since I didn’t answer them before going to bed yesterday. I even got an email that they followed me on Google+. Haha. I didn’t know Google+ was still a thing. I bet if I log into my Myspace there’ll be a message from them there.
It’s flattering, though. The viral videos have been fun, we’ve gotten more Likes, now this offer. If I were a more business minded person I’d probably be trying to make a pay day out of this.

Sorry if I’m completely out of the loop on literally everything, LITERALLY. My mind has been preoccupied with the licensing and also being out on the town with goats partying like it’s 1999 raisins for a dolllar. I feel like a cartoon strip where I start off in the first frame with a half full to-do box and then in the last frame the to-do box is COMPLETELY FULL and I don’t know what happened in the middle frames but obviously it didn’t involve me getting anything done or even checking the Facebook feed. I just hope when the inevitable end times begin the steps to survival won’t be buried somewhere deep in my timeline and I’ll only read them once the radiation has nuked my core or the brain slugs have devoured the tastiest parts of my brain or you know what was I saying?

Good goat times today. A beautiful day. Warm and sunny. I think it may be the most summerly of the year yet. Perfect for sitting around and watching the goats goat. Brought my tripod today to try to get some better shots of us on the bench. Using the tripod makes me feel partly silly and partly like an actual photographer, haha. We’ll see if any of it is usable. I did something else today… but I’ll tell you a little later.

Very sad to hear about Chris Cornell. It’s always profoundly sad when great artists who have made so many many people laugh or cry or feel or survive take their own lives. It makes you wish you could turn the clock back and line up thousands and thousands of people to tell them how great they were.

Oh no, Black Beauty! What did you do? You knocked down two boards from the fence. And then moved the bench to cover part of the hole?! Bad horse!
Yeah, I did it. Haha. I can’t believe it. Pretty out of character for me. And to be honest I’m kinda regretting it. Stupid thing to do and I feel bad about it now. I hope they won’t be mad at me. Well, what’s the worst that can happen. It’s not like they can fire me…
For now the goats have a way from the pen to the pasture again. We’ll see how that goes. Mia and Mio did cross over to the pasture briefly. But today it was mostly the horses taking advantage. Since the grass is better in the pen than in the pasture. So now they could reach a little bit of the better grass. Once they eat that up the passageway should be clear for the goats again. Unless it gets boarded up or something. I don’t know. Whateves.
