Bread, Hay And Carrots But No Sugar

I got a letter from the hospital today. The eye ward. They want me to come back for further examination. The letter says that they found “changes” in my eyes. They want to take a closer look at that. And if the changes are serious enough then we will talk about laser treatment. So I’m going back in on Thursday.

I’m quite happy about that. Anything that might help my eyesight would be great. The last couple of days it has been particularly bad. Even using zoom it’s hard to use the computer. Frustrating. So let’s hope I qualify for some laser surgery.

It was even hard to watch the game on the telly today. Last footie of the year. Brøndby beat top rival OB and thus finishes the year as number 1. After two dreadful seasons it’s been great to see us back in the top. But now it’s winter break and no more footie till March. Lousy Danish climate. The week is so much nicer when I have a Brøndby game to look forward to in the weekend.

Today I did 6 kilometres on the bike. That’s a whopping 50% increase. And if it wasn’t for the sore butt I’d probably have gone longer. This time I tried not to focus so much on the km counter and instead just focus on the music I had playing. That’s a much nicer way to do it. Before I knew it I had passed 4 km and didn’t feel like stopping. I’m really happy I got this bike.

I promised some pictures. And here they are. No butts. But a buck at least.

playground frost

It was a frosty morning at the playground.

Kurt had a couple of loaves of bread for the goats. So I got to hand those out.

buck

Mmm, buck likes the bread.

buck

Nomnomnom.

buck

He’s got a bit of a boxer nose. Sometimes when he gets excited you can sort of hear his breath wheezing through the nose. It doesn’t look like he has any trouble breathing, but just sounds a bit funny.

magnethe

Hay, hay. Hay for Magnethe.

magnethe

Nomnomnomnom.

magnethe

Hay, hay, happy goats.

vanilje

And what’s this? A carrot for Vanilje?

vanilje

Oh yes, gimme that.

vanilje

Nomnomnomnom.

Oops, carrot all gone. Better get my hand out of the way before the glove disappears.

That’s yer lot.

I see Vanilje’s teeth! When we give John Boy scratches on his rump, he will smile and show his bottom teeth. I’ll ask him to show me some teeth and he’ll turn around and do so.

Now Snickers is another thing. Ask to see her teeth and she will show them and let you feel them!

It’s been cold and windy, so extended periods of walkies has not been good. I think they’ve all got barn-fever from being together too much.

Kind of like when the family is suffering from too much togetherness at holiday time! (Get me away from this donkey with the big teeth!)

And it wouldn’t be Christmas without the singing goatzies! Happy Holidays from the Goats.

Debster – I love when goats show teeth! It is so darn cute. Magnethe often does it when I scratch her neck just right.
I think you need vacation. But then so do the goats and donkeyes probably, so you’ll just have to all go together. Maybe you can rent a nice cabin and get cabin-fever!
Ah the dinging goats. Now it truly is the season!
