Oops, I bought a Blu-ray player today. You know me and my expensive toys. But oops, it didn’t do what I thought it did and tomorrow I have to go return it. Always fun, this life. I just hope the store won’t object.
But who can have the blues when these are around:
They should put THAT on blu-ray.

Little goat bundles of happiness!
So what’s a Blu-Ray player supposed to do that yours’ didn’t do? Or what did you want it to do?
I touch the TV remote this morning, no satellite TV. I touch the computer tonight, it won’t do what I want.
Of course the way to fix the TV is the same way you fix computers . . . turn it off, wait 1/2 hour then turn it back on! Voila! The TV works (until I try to change channels to watch “House”.)
Am I full of static or something?
Even had trouble donating blood today. Took forever (22 minutes) for one pint! Then I got light-headed, had to have my feet up and my head lowered in the chair, cool cloth on my forehead, and an ice pack on my arm where it might get bruised when the needle was inserted.
That took 2 tries and I don’t think it was in right and that was why it took so long for the actual donation.
Tomorrow will be a better day. Right Plume? Please tell me yes!

Sir Plume, you don’t have to worry about me ever e-mailing you that I’m coming over to Denmark to visit you. No sireee!
My friend and her husband who live in Australia told me today that they are planning on visiting us in August or Sept. this year. OMG! What will I do with them, where will they stay, how long will they stay? OMG!
I’ve written her for about 100 years now (since 5th grade), but I’m just not that good in person. Much better on paper and on e-mail, believe me.
I guess I make our goatzies and donkey sound so wonderful and magical everyone wants to see them!
Can I catch social phobia from a blog????
I had to e-mail my sister for help. We are going to switch identities as she is more social! Well, no not quite. But she helped me figure out what to say, how to handle the visit, and calmed me down so I didn’t throw up, etc.
Whew! I need a kick in the butt, my dear danish goat boy!

Debster, that sounds like fun! I mean, maybe not to everyone, but I wish someone – anyone really – would visit us…
Plume, them kids are just absolutely gorgeous. I’m smitten.

Your friends from Australia could always stay at a hotel. Maybe they would feel more comfortable there. They’ll have privacy; you’ll have privacy. It’ll make for a better time for all. So you have plenty of time to plan since they won’t be arriving until later this year. I think it would be fun and terribly interesting. I mean, could you imagine Plume and me knocking on your door? It’s kind of like that.
We’ll stand there looking at you; then you looking at us; Plume looking at you; you looking at Plume; me looking at you; you looking at me; your husband looking at Plume and me; you and your husband looking at Plume and me; Plume looking at me; me looking at Plume.
And no, Plume should not kick your bottom. It’s very rude and unbecoming of a gentleman like Plume to resort to such tactics.
That’s something I would do THEN blame Plume for it. (Shhhh…don’t tell Plume or he’ll really kick MY bottom!)
The boys do belong on blu-ray. I was watching the video. Wow, the little one sounded just like a crying child.
No wonder they’re called “kidds.”

Debster – Well I thought it would play hd avis. And it didn’t. So there. You can understand my justified outrage.
I’m quite static usually. But sooner or later I’ll start moving around again. Harrr.
I had a little trouble when the doc was taking a blood sample from me this week. The first came out ok but then I guess I dried out and the doc was quite puzzled and I had to start opening and closing my hand. Like an old pump I am!
Ooh, visitors. That’ll be exciting! If you survive. I know I’d die if it was me. I was ready to croak that one time Stu was planning to come to Denmark, and that was just a short goat visit he was planning. Hah. Maybe you can stay out with the goats if you get too shy? I’m sure they’d make room for you. Maybe they’ll let you join the poker games.
I wouldn’t mind visiting you some day actually. But of course the social phobia kinda gets in the way of that. So you don’t have to worry, I won’t spring any surprise visits on you!
I hope you and your sister gets it all sorted out. If it makes you feel any better I know a couple of Australians and they are awesome people! If you need a topic of conversation just bring up crown princess Mary. She’s australian and married a Danish prince. What a fairytale. Hey what was that HC Andersen tale with the sloppy hick who married a princess? Weren’t there goats in that? Boy, you’d think they taught us more about HC Andersen in Danish schools!
Oh right, Clumsy Hans it was called in English. Didn’t he ride a goat? Hmm.
Desiree – I wish I could visit you. I have a select list of people I’d like to visit. Maybe some day when I sweat out the phobia.
Luislemmings – Why would you and me look at each other? Maybe we forgot who we were there with. I can just imagine jumping a feet in the air when I saw you standing next to me.
I’d never kick anyone. My legs are much too short for that. But better watch out for my killer left hook.

Plume, if you came to visit me, I’d just stick you out with the goatzies in the barn and not worry about a thing. My husband said he would even clean the stalls out really good for you!
LuisLemmings, I would have to coax “you” out to the goat pen with some expensive liquor. Then I’d make sure you could meet the goatzies one at a time so you weren’t mobbed. Our boys and donkey girl don’t have the petting zoo mentality where they jump all over you looking for food.
Plume, LuisLemmings, and I all need to go visit Desiree. She sounds lonesome to me!
