Children Of A Lesser Goat

(google cache)

I managed to get to the playground today. Thank goats for that. As always they are a sanity pill in the insane asylum of life. They still manage to make me happy whenever I see them.

They were out of their pen today. Spring has sprung well and the powers that be granted the goats some time with the fresh new greens.

Magnethe diving in. She was tied down along with Vanilje. While the boys roamed free.

Running around in a blurry blur. Exploring their new surroundings. And pushing each other around a whole lot. They really are getting into the rivalry. Every chance they get.

A bunch of kids came visiting, kindergarteners perhaps. The boys ran up to them and were very popular with everyone. I decided to give them a show and let Finn dance around on my back for a while. Everybody loved it. I thought I got some video of the happy outbursts, until I realized that I had the camera set to picture mode. Such it goes when you can hardly see.

Bodil came visiting as well. Always so nice to see her. She had with her sif, the new dog. Still a small one, but she had grown since last I saw her. Still very cute, though. The goat boys were quite interested in her. As well was Leo, the lamb. He wanted to play around with the little doggie. I don’t think little puppies understand the headbutting game, though, so Bodil wisely kept them apart. Calling Leo a lamb is a bit of a stretch these days. Sussi & Leo are very big now. More sheep than lambs. They still run around and make funny baahs, though, that much has not changed.

So a nice time with Bodil and the animals. Just what I needed.

Looks like your goatzie boys are flying with the ears up and that blur over the shoulder looks like a wing (a fairy goat wing).

It is really green there, too. Have you had lots of rain like we’ve had? We’re green here. So much so, my husband has been mowing grass every couple of days (or when it’s not raining).

Well, I hear Snickers sounding off. Must be time for walkies. My donkey calls and I answer!

Glad to hear you got to talk to Bodil and see Sif. Sounds like you had a very pleasant day. And no one deserves a pleasant day more than you do, my dear danish goat boy.

Debster – We haven’t had a lot of rain. but a little bit. I was lucky it had stopped when I got there yesterday. Just some grey clouds and wind remained. The sun even came out in spots.
