I Wish I Had Bette Davis’ Eyes

Nothing much new. My sight is a little worse. I hope it will survive until Monday and the hospital examination. We are looking into maybe getting another week or two of acupuncture with their old method. We’ll see what the acupuncturist thinks anyway.
Today I spent a good, long time in the sun with the goats. It was wonderful as always. Nothing cheers me up quite like the two goat boys running up to greet me. Big boys. They were running around constantly, tiring themselves out. When Sigrid came with a bucket of water for them they practically drank the whole thing in one go. Well, they left a little for mama Vanilje. Magnethe wasn’t thirsty at all. She just checked the bucket to make sure it wasn’t food and then she turned her head away with a slightly snobby look on her face. “Not good enough for me… away with it”. She has high standards.
And that’s about all.

What color are your eyes anyway? Mine are brown and my husband’s are blue.
Billy’s are blue-gold, John Boy, Frankie, and Snickers are all brown.
No walkies last night as we just got home before a storm blew through. Snickers was mad. She blocked my husband’s way, nipped at his pant legs, and then reared up on her hind legs. “I want out, out, out of here!”
We shut the barn doors up so it wouldn’t rain in and we could hear her kicking inside and then the three goats popped out the smaller opening with her behind them.
I didn’t think she could get out that opening, but she was out this morning. She could get out that opening easily when she was smaller, but it’s getting harder for her now. I think she was mad that the goats could get out quicker than she could.
We have had lots of rain. Water standing in the fields again, some flash flood warnings, and more rain tonight and into Wed. morning.
We need some dry weather to work on all of our outside painting projects.

Debster – I don’t even remember what colour my eyes are. Brown I think. Or blue. I’d go check in the mirror, but you know how that’d go.
Snickers has sure got a strongminded head on her, hasn’t she? Better stay on her good side!
We got a little rain today, after some very hot and sunny days. The clouds went away quickly though, and there has been more sun. Typical Danish summer weather really
