Luftwaffels

I had the best dream last night. Jonathan Coulton came to my school and I showed him around. And that’s all I remember. But it must have been good because I woke up all happy thinking “best. dream. ever”. I do remember that I shook his hand and thanked him for making me smile during hard times.

I am still watching a lot of his live videos on youtube. They put me in a good mood. Those and Red Dwarf are the main providers of smiles at the moment. Along with the goats of course. No one can rival goats for smiles.

Other than that things are not so great. I am not seeing well at all. The world is a blur again. I watched Sweden-Denmark on the telly tonight. And by “watched” I mean listened to the commentary. I am back to not really being able to see the action. So it goes.

I also did some shopping. It goes okay as long as I’m buying the regular things. I have my set routines, the things I always buy. Altough it’s a lot fewer things since I stopped buying candy, cakes and soda. Hah. But still, I can find those things I need. Except when I need new things. It doesn’t help that the supermarket was redesigned at the beginning of the year. Everything in new places. Today I wanted blueberries but could not find them. I also wanted Heinz ketchup but could not find it. It’s not funny, wandering back and forth through the aisles, trying to recognise everything on the shelves. I know I could ask the staff, but then my social phobia kinda gets in the way of that. If it’s not one thing then it’s the other. But I’m lucky to have my dad, who is always keen on bringing me things. Always a big help. He will be going with me to the hospital on Monday too. Getting there shouldn’t be too hard, but when the tests are done my eyesight will be even worse because of the eyedrops. And even worse than horrible is pretty bad, I’m sure you will agree. So it’ll be good to have someone to get me home. And then we’ll see if the tests will do anything. I shouldn’t get my hopes up too much. We’ll see. Hopefully.
